Are you having a bad day to post up a quote like that?

Very interesting that you saw it that way. What does that quote mean/say to you?

Interestingly, I am having an amazing day/time. I just randomly heard that quote last night in a CD I was listening to (it was Dyer, Smurfy) and thought it was genius.

fukkin love Dyer.

genius.

This particular quote was used in the context of meditation (whatever "meditation" may mean to you, i.e. prayer, budhhist meditation, being quiet in a room, etc). But I think it speaks mostly to people's refusal / in ability to STOP and pay attention for a while.

Interesting

because my ideal situation is being alone without anyone else around.

I hate people

What you described and what this quote is about are 2 totally different things.

kb, Are you reading something now that prompted this?

Was listening to one of my Wayne Dyer audio clips last night and he mentioned that quote. I've never read anything about Pascal (not that into philosophers / scientist combos) before.

Ahhh, ok. I did a paper on some of Pascal's math/philosophy theories my freshman year...pretty interesting to me, but I'm a dweeb.
