Bladder Infection?? Help

ok, i piss all the time. i only feel an itchy type feeling in my dick, no pain. this has been going on for weeks now.

i had a prostate exam. it was fine
psa test , normal
had a blood test, kidneys, liver etc fine.

i had a piss dip test, and it was fine, had a 5 hour blood glucose test done it was fine (not diabetic)

the only thing i havent done is the 48 hour culture test for infection done. but i had the dip test, will the dip and the 48 hour be different, can be different?

wtf? any have anything to add to this, i could really use some help here.

I heard that the dr tests for serious bladdde rinfections by putting his finger in your ass. Dont know because ive never had one, but if thats true good fucking luck. I feel for you

nope, they test your prostate that way, and yes i had it done. trust me, when you pee every 20 minutes a finger in the ass to find a cure is ok with me....

The dipstick test is not always definitive. Positive dipstick always means infection, but a negative result does not imply lack of infection. If symptoms persist, have a culture taken.

i have some cephalexin, and amoxicillin

should i take these, will it help, i go to piss for the 24 hour culture tommorrow, should i wait till then to take them, or start now... this is getting really old... i am really uncomfortable.

Don't take any antibiotics before the test is done. They can't get a accurate reading if your on the antibiotics.Then again if you have a bladder infection that medication will cure it.
You could take it and see if it clears up in a few days.

dont STDs hurt when you pee? i have itching in the urethra(sp) area at times (rarely) but it has never burned when i pee.

i went to an urgent care last night and asked for a culture to be done, they took my pee and looked at it through a microscope and said there was no bla bla in it and so they wouldnt do the 48 hour culture... WTF?

is that normal.... should i insist on a 48 hour culture to be done?
