Here is a good video!

Black Panthers come into a neighborhood to protest the shooting of some peeps that broke into a house. (Black Panthers supporting criminals...go figure!)

Anyway, a group of people supporting the guy who defended his house stand down to the criminal-supporting Black Panthers.

End its with the anti-criminal people shouting USA.

and i would've like to have seen some minority faces in the opposing crowd, to show that peeps of all races are against supporting thuggish and anti-social behaviour, not just annoying fatty white people.
the way it was, it looks like a race war starting to brew...when in reality it's not about race, it's about hating on criminals and criminal ways

I do not see it as a race issue.

The real issue is would the Black Panthers be there if the intruders were white? Nope.
 
This happened down in my area. It wasn't the dudes own house it was his neighbors! He called 911 telling them that 2 guys were inside his neighbors house stealing shit and was waiting on the cops. He told them on 911 that if the cops didn't hurry up that he was going to take care of them. He went outside and shot them in his neighbors yard not his own. It's big talk here. Should he get in trouble and will he? I am sure he will! It was not even his own house!! I know he was just trying to do good because he knew those fools would get away, but still not right and he will unfortunately pay for it!

I am all for shooting criminals though.

I can totally understand his anger and why he did it, but he wasnt thinking it out because he will do time I am sure of that !
 
Key points:
1. Big crowd of white people didnt lay a hand on any of the black panthers who basically showed up to support a criminal that deserved to get shot.
2. Big crowd of white people drove off black panthers without inciting violence on either side.
3. No racial epithets were hurled form what I could tell from the video (of course with all the noise I could have missed something)
4. The media will never cover this in a million years
 
If you break into someone's house, you can expect to meet a scared homeowner who is going to try to protect his goods and his family. If you choose a career as a criminal, getting shot is a job hazard. The race of the burglars is irrelevant. The fact that they are in your house announced and uninvited is the only thing the homeowner sees right before he shoots.

thats why the cops didn't come right away. they were gonna come but he called and was like "yo i got this" and the dispatch was like "allright boys he got em so no need to hurry."

I disagree, you have t know that guy from Houston. Quanell X is a racist extraordinaire. He wants to go into that neighborhood and protest the deaths of two burglars? laughable. sure, the rednecks were asses too, but he's a publicity hound that needed to be taken down a notch.

Depends on the circumstance I guess. I agree that he could have tried to stop them and then if presented with a life threatning situation he could be justifyed in using deadly force. Now if he just started blasting thats a different story. I dont think you are justified in using deadly force to protect your properity. Just your or someone elses life.

IMO the Panthers are a bunch of losers in this case. I just do not see how someone can SUPPORT people who break into your house to rob and possibly kill you!

This was bullshit..If it were a white person, asian, mexican killed they would not be out there. Most black people have a chip on their shoulder and think they are owed everything. I am not racist but it pisses me off. If it were a black dude that shot a white robber and the whites protested than they would all be considered racist and jessie jackson and all them other useless black leaders would be involoved

doesnt matter in TX. if your house is broken into and you feel threatened you can shoot. I know it wasnt his house but I doubt the guy will do a lot of time.

There is a difference between being a vigilante and defending your property (or your neighbors property).

Shooting a person entering on your property to rob you is self defense and is ok.

Killing the guy after he has committed the crime is being a vigilante. If I shoot a guy entering my home I should not be punished, if I wait a week and shoot him when he is walking out of his home or at Wal-Mart that is wrong.

well, apparently the guy who shot them shot them as they were leaving his neighbors house.
i hate theiving trash just as much as the next guy but this was not self-defense or defending one's own property.
