I remember someone said him to be credited as highly intelligent from many sources... i'd say at least 140 maybe more than 150. Of course also relentlessness and dedication mean a lot.

Give him credit for the minimal amount of intelligence needed to pull this kindof thing off. And thats about how much he has. more than 150 but less than 160. If he were smart he could have made no public notice whatsoever about how he did not do it. He could have waited until he were question then give full deniability, and his story would have been more plausable. There's a hundred other things he could have done if he had the IQ of a genious, which he doesn't, so he's just a smart guy who happens to be rich and hating the U.S.


Also is it true that Bin Laden made money off of his attack on the world trade center an such because he had people buy him damage insurance on the buildings? I heard this and was quite surprised it hadn't been done in the past.

An IQ of 130 is exceptional. It is in the "gifted" category. I don't think Bin Laden is amoungst this group at all. What he dreamed up is not that complex. He just had enough money to buy a dozen idiots to fly the planes into our buildings. As usual money is everything.
