ok i am installing those 12mm thick vinyl tile things. i had to rip up some of the linoleum and the floor is uneven a tad bit. what is the quickest way to fix this so i can finish laying the squares, also the home depot sold me linoleum glue to put on the back since they won't stick to concrete any tips?

Scrape and scrape and scrape and scrape some more. Then take a belt sander and smooth it all out if you feel the need to make it perfect.

I told you that you'd need to use a hammer and a chisel to get the old stuff up.

I'm telling you, a metal paint scraper is the best thing. A hammer and chisel will work for the more stubborn globs, but you will inevitably start notching your slab if you go at it too long. Trust me...scrape and sand.
