It sounds like you know what you're doing so I'll reiterate my point...what's so special about this guys's suggestions? As for the mast, I'm a fan, but it will not put on any muscle. It's purely cosmetic and short lived. I did an article at evo about contest prep and mentioned mast as a must -- but that's to look as hard and defined as possible for contest time. I have no idea why someone would suggest that for a bulking cycle.
The only thing special about him really is he trains with the top athletes in the sport. Though he isn't one of the top himself. Maybe I let that go to my head.
But yes I agree about using mast. I think he suggested it because he wants my future business and by throwing in mast at the tail it would harden me up and give me a pleasing appearance. So if I was very pleased I'd use him to coach me. I'm not sure but that might be why he suggested it.
That being said. I will not use mast on this cycle. If I stack anything at the tail it'll probably be var unless I can get some more input
