No I have not... I might head out to the dealer in Manhattan next weekend to
give it a try.I'm 5'5" @ 190lbs right now.
I'm not worried about leg room as long as the as shoulder room is ample...

I'm thinking about getting a toy for NEXT summer. I have some hefty bills and not in a position to budget a toy right now... Next summer I'll be a lil' bit more in the clear and might make room for the payments then.

It's light. The car weighs less than 2000 pounds, it doesn't need a lot of power to go fast. It'll pull an under-five-second 0-60 time with a 1.8 Toyota engine.

Elise and Exige are just about the best things on four wheels.



A couple of other cars to consider if you like the Lotus would be a Caterham Seven or an Ariel Atom.

If you want a "neo-exotic" that can rip the ass out of pretty much anything below 120k buy a Noble. A base Noble handles better than a base Vette and is about as fast. The FI model is a monster though and is still under about 85k.

Same engine is used in Celica and Corolla/Matrix I think. 1.8 liter AVVT. So you know it's reliable.

THere's some truth to that, especially if you're not 22 anymore.

Some people will definetly perceive it that way....
