Im having a very hard time getting the protien+calories i need to get larger w/ my normal diet. I can normally start a good diet and eat very well for a few wks but that doesnt work too long. I live at home and Im basically forced to eat what my family eats.

Please give me ur opinion of the best weightgainer or meal replacement for me

im 5'9 175, 10% bf, 22 yrs old.

Thx

As you can see from some other posts NLarge is a good way to go. Like I had mentioned before, if you're currently taking a whey protein powder with low carbs/calories you might want to look at adding some of this stuff called Carbo Rush to it. If you're looking for an MRP, I'm becoming a fan of VPX's Micellean Super Food (i hate them for their prohormones with the fake steroid names though). I've had 2 customers rave about it. It's got a good amount of calories and carbs, the carbs coming from grains and oats. It's also a rarity that it contains about 7.5 grams of fiber in it as well. Prolab's Lean Body Matrix is supposedly good, but I've heard it contains aspartame, but I haven't verified this yet. You might want to compare the 2 and go from there.

AS Cilo said... look at some other posts... N-Large is popular with some of the guys and also me.. Just bought my 5th 10 lb bucket since september... also tell your mom (or who ever does the shopping) to buy 50 lbs of chicken a week , and you should be all set with your protein.. for carbs eat sum oatmeal in the morning, it digests slowly, yogurt is good too.. IM also tryin to work on my carb problem too.. i think i need to get in more carbs during the day

my suggestion is get a 10lb bag or two of optimum whey
and the jug (i think its 10lb) of malitodestrin (i spelled that way wrong) from supplement direct

you can also add pb or fruits or honey or oatmeal

you will get more servings this way, for less $$$

at least that is my suggestion

and tell your mom you want steak, shrimp, salad, and baked potato every night

n -large is 28 grams of sugar per 4 scoops... I hvan't tryed th vanilla.. only the chocolate and strawberry... and optimum whey comes in a 10 lbs bag.. dont do the 2 5lbs ones , more expensive

but both flavors i tryed we good.. did 2 buckets of chocolate and 2 of strawberry.. adn now on another chocolate...

i use optimum whey already.... ive gone through like 2.5 10lb bags... its not really the protien im lackin in my diet.. tho powdered whey protien isnt the greatest to base my diet off of anyway... but still...

Im lookin for calories/protien/carbs w/out much sugar

I usually eat a good protien dinner... thats not the problem... I always have chicken or steak w/ potatoes or wheat pasta or brown rice... my problem is i want a meal replacement for my meals that arent breakfast / lunch and dinner... thats where im lacking.. cuz i wont eat tuna out of the can anymore.

My meals are like this:
Cereal+SkimPlusMilk

Lean PorkRoll 4Eggwhites+Cheese

Lunch: Chicken Wrap/Turkey Sand./somethin like that

Low Fat Cottage Cheese + Nat. Peanut Butter

Dinner chicken or steak w/ potatoes or wheat pasta or brown rice

Before bed Cottage cheese+ Peanut butter

i dont really have meals in between anymore since i stopped eatting tuna.. so im looking for a MR that will help me out.

If youve already got the optimum, make your own weight gainer. Experiment a little by adding oatmeal, Maltodextrin, yogurt, peanut butter ect. Little bit more of a hassle but tastes much better than N large and you get to vary the amount of cals you put in. just my two cents
