Best way to take creatine?

WHo knows much about this? My friend says you need to cycle it because you're receptor sites will not respond to the creatine if you stay on too long. Anyone know? Creatine is the only natural substance that I found to add muscle. Besides food of course.
 
I usually have a very keen sense for sarcasm, but I still need you to confirm the fact that you're joking...
 
don't load it, just take 5g before you lift and another 5g with your post workout shake and thats it, no need to cycle it either.

yup, that loading crap is bs...its just the company trying to get u to use the product faster.

what about cycling?

ive heard from some pretty reputable sources that you can hit basically a month on/month off and you should still be good to go

that makes no sense to me though, because if your body can store enough for a month, then i don't see how it wouldn't need to build up a supply when you first start taking it instead of just working right away

also i think 10g/day is considered a pretty large dose... i was under the impression that you're looking more around the 7-8g range... not that that really sounds like too big a difference
 
you dont need to cycle it

run the creatine ethyl ester - you can get the powder cheap and its more effective than monohydrate. You also take a lot less.
