best way to do trt?

whats the best way to use test for replacment low doses , i am 27 test level is 250 , dont have insurance , but doc will give gel , im very sensitive to water retention , so please help , thanks

I would stay away from the gel if I were you. I've been doing TRT for years now. I started when I was 21, and I've been browsing releated boards for even longer than I've been on TRT.

75% of the guys I talk to skip to injectibles because they don't feel better on the gel even though it raises their total testosterone levels.

The biggest problem with the gel, however, is that there is a VERY increased conversion to DHT as the testosterone travels through the skin. My current wouldn't even THINK of prescribing the 10mg dose of Androgel due to the amounts of DHT it creates (say hello to male battern baldness!)

My T was 185 to 351, given time of day and lab -- and that was at age 19.
