Best way to beat a speeding ticket in court?

Hey Bro

Keep a bottle of water in the car......pour it on your crotch and tell the cop you were trying to make it to a bathroom before you pissed your pants.....works like a charm......unless you have some skins on you really don't need to be wet.... ;) :D :mix:

Worst case scenario...

Just go to court, get your 6 points on your license, pay your 90-100 bucks and call it a day.

If you were in Nassau you know the cop will be there to testify against you - they always show up.

If you were in Suffolk - it will depend on which court you're landing up at.

If you already have several points (5 or more) on your license you can kiss it goodbye for 3-6 months.

Not getting a ticket on the LIE is easy - just don't be the fastest car or don't go over 76/77.

Oh and, take the accident prevention course- it will drop 4 points and reduce your insurance by 10%.

Here's what ya do....if you have no other tickets in a while, ask the judge to lower it a bit...once you get the fine amount, mail it in...now here's how to go about it...

If the fine is 100$...mail in 105$...now the court must mail you a check for over payment.....DO NOT cash that check.....Here's why!!!

The court is only interested in reciving the fine amount, once all transactions are completed, it forwards it to the insurance company, and DMV....by not cashing the check, there is still an outstanding financial statement waiting to be cleared.....you gotta pay the fine...granted, but other than that....It's all good!!!

Heh heh heh heh

Ranger, that only works if you know what the fine will be for the ticket. If you get a speeding ticket in NY (well, Long Island) that is 25 or more miles over the posted speed limit you have to go to court they usually do not have the fine amount written, the judge will tell you after the hearing.

I heard that police have to calibrate their radar guns everyday to make sure they're on target. You may wanna try and ask that. You may get lucky and he didn't or he could just lie and say he did I guess.

if you ask if a chicago cops radar is calibrated, the next time he sees you, he'll calibrate it right upside your fucking head....gotta luv chicago PD.

LOL..how true... but Psyco can go to the prosecuter before hand and work out some time pf plea agreement..usually works out to a lower fine and no points...depending on your driving record

Dude,

LI = cop will be there. Both Suffolk and Nassau schedule thir dates so that one officer can be there to handle like 200 tickets.

Wow, that's even worse than I thought.
Hmmm.
