Best way around SR-22?

I gotta get on that damn SR22 for two years and the cost is outrageous. $500 a month!

Being the jew that I'm not, can I work my way around this by purchasing a vehicle of lesser value and paying SR22 on that?

I talked to a buddy of mine that said he would transfer his title over to me on some historic POS that's only worth around $1,500 as opposed to my car which is worth considerably more.

The whole sr-22 thing puzzles me.

I was paying around $1900 /year on insurance pre DUI.
After sr-22 I was paying around $1600 /year. Same car.

Perhaps they screwed up. Buncha screw ups. Screw them.

Different states different policies. And you may have fucked up on getting teh SR-22.

Do you need to go multiple DUIs in a certain number of years to be put on that SR22 thing?


I got popped for two counts of posession and for DUI and for some reason my insurance didnt go up. I am 99% sure its because my insurance agent was a friend of my mom's.....or maybe I was just incredibly lucky.
