Best Training Journal

Tatyana

Elite Mentor
I want to be able to keep all of my training info in one place, and I need something I can take to the gym.

Does anyone use one?

I was thinking of getting Stuart McRoberts Power and strength training tracker.

Any other recommendations?

I just remember what I did at the gym and type it on me computer once I get home, if I didn't go home right after I went to the gym I would probably write it down in a notebook.

Call me old fashioned, and I sometimes do loads of sets. I would like a book, and so far the notebook has not been working for me...................

I use GymJournal.com

It will calculate the weights for you based on your previous performance. I doesn't do periodization well because it uses the previous workout. I'm doing a heavy, light, medium routine right now and I just print it once a week and it works fine.

The print out is quite handy and easy to read in the gym.

You can track physique changes and nutrition but I don't use those features.
