Best Things To Do Postworkout

OK...I am working out a lot these days. I want to see if there are any things i can do to speed recovery between workouts. I am not even on any supplements right now.

So here is what i am thinking:

Creatine: obviously has to help somewhat and really can't hurt too much.

Glutamine: I eat cottage cheese for this. Still can't hurt.

Good sleep: Obvious

Nutrition: Eat lots and well = quick recovery

Now here is where it gets interesting....Havn't tried many of these but i am sure they work i am just wondering if any ppl on here have had any experience with these:

Hot Tub/ Sauna/ Steamroom etc.
Massage- so i have an excuse to get the girls to do it.
Extra Workouts- as outlined by Westside barbell

Any other things i can do to speed up recovery?
 
Have some simple sugars, Not to much to stop catacbolic breakdown of the muscles, right after have alot of protein due to insulin spike after lifting and in part by the sugar. After that take a warm shower or sauna and stretch. One big thing I do is wear a lot of clothes after workout to keep body temp up so my muscles don't cramp and relax faster=faster healing.
 
Can't take test so i am looking for some more unique and not as known ways of recuperating myself.

High Intensity: If that works...fuck man, i'll just have an excuse to jerk off some more. Are u serious?

Good points everyone. Any others?
 
I take creatine immediately after workout, before I leave the gym. Then a shake when I get home. Glutamine before bed time, that's about it.
 
don't forget, a very under rated thing to do is PREworkout nutrition. Some carbs and protein PRIOR to working out also help recovery just as much as post workout nutrition.
