Best tasting protein

I have passed this on to a few in emails, but thought I would post publicly.

The Watermelon is like kool aid, even on its own, but add dextrose and you will want to drink it all the time! The pineapple Mango is equally as good. I have tried them all. Cherry exquiste, Apple. Any of them are great.

High quality whey isolate, with a certificate of analysis. Very reasonable...just over 20 bucks.

This protein is the best hands down of any I have ever had, and I have tried more protein powders than I can count over the years. I thought Syntrax was a couple years ago, but it was also pricey.

Is Giant Nutrition reliable regarding their protein?
Is it really only 20 bucks for 2lbs of WPI?

BTW: i really like ON's Rocky Road flavor, with ice and some oatmeal, it tastes like milk shake!

Very much so....in fact the only one I know that offers a certificate of analysis. This is Patrick Arnolds baby, he would not in my mind would not compromize his standing in the community as one of the top guys.

Wow...
Gonna buy some giant
But they only have those creepy flavours hehe
No chocolate?

Yeah, they have a dark chocolate....but the idea of why I posted this was to get away from the chocolate! :)

Ten bucks a pound isn't an especially good price for WPI. You can get Isopure from pretty much anywhere online for that. Protein factory charges 9.09 a pound for theirs. 2 pounds for 20 is totally in bounds.

Using one called Synergy 3. 56 grams in two scoops, Whey Isolate, Egg Isolate, and Micellar Casein in 5.5lbs for under $50. Vanilla tastes like vanilla cake batter..awesome!

I wonder how long many of you have been around this game. I wonder how many of you remember the testing of protein factories protein, an analysis of their prodcut claims as compared to the real thing. You probably don't remember how badly they reacted to it, and the result. Much of their stuff was subsequently sold to true protein. I have been researching for a long time.

I've tried 99.9999% of them..........plain and simple they are ALL fairly the same. Granted there are a few that may have ingreditients or processes in the development of the protein that are under severe question, but hell, I've tried $65 2lb protein like AST and 17.99 protein like GNC. Personally, I go into GNC and check out there manager specials. Expiration stuff. I got a tub of EAS protein for 10 bucks and a 20 pack of myoplex MRP for 15.....plus, GNC's pro performance protein is buy one and get the 2nd half off. Not a gnc advocate, dont get me wrong, most of their prices suck, but in some cases, price is what matters.

For me, right now it's ON whey, Muscle Millk in my oats (AWESOME) and a slower release with some peanuts and almonds as I lie in bed.............

What I posted was simply to alert folks to a quality protein, reasonably priced, and a DIFFERENT and extremely good taste than the standard chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. The choice is yours what to use. :)

I like muscle milk too.

All these posts are great, but with the recent posts regarding protien quality, etc..

What brand do you each find most reliable?

I have been using ON whey for many years, never thought of switching, but if it is not the high quality I assumed it to be.... well then, shit.

I think next time around I am going to buy some Isopure, just so I know I am getting quality.

Any input?

Again, the protein I mentioned does have a certificate of analysis with each flavor.

And protein is pretty much protein, I simply posted this to give a different flavor change for those who are sick of the same old chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

I use this stuff daily, the watermelon and the peach mango I swear I look forward to! They both are so good.

And to those who post about Muscle Milk, yeah it is good. But what I am posting is a pure whey isolate of high grade, a different animal than Muscle Milk is.

Muscle Milk owns all

B/S, I just got some Grow! in the mail and this is by far the best protien powder I have ever tasted and the best there is.

ON Vanilla on Bodybuilding.com
55 bucks for a 10 pound bag. best tasting protein. best results ive seen from a protein.

SO basically Proteinfactory's stuff is rubbish?
Check out the link lifterforlife posted. Their tested numbers are statistically acceptable to claimed quantities for protein content. They tended to test less acceptably for their mixes and I would imagine it was an issue with mixing errors as opposed to the quality of the powders. I always purchased milk isolate from them and it tested very well IMO.

I'm a big fan of ON's Chocolate Mint, mixed with some dextrose PWO. The sugar makes it sweet enough to actually taste good.
