Best tactical boots?

Looks good. $119 though. I'll be lookin more on ebay for a pair of those.

I want to do HIIT in the snow here. Running in the snow is good stability/core work as well as good cardio. I want to get out of the house to do something active.

Waterproof is best.

Yeah, $119 is a little tough, especially since I really didn't know they priced out that high until I saw that sight. I think a buddy of mine got a pair off US Cavalry for cheaper. They are great boots however.

Danners are kinda heavy. That's why I wanted tactical boots. Lighter = better for running.

Danner makes all kinds of boots in different weights.

Yup. I have a pair of Strikers right now, but i'm going to buy a pair of Acadia's soon... very durable boots.

I have a wide foot so I stick with matterhorns, I wish Danner made their green beret boots in 14 wide.

We were issued a set of ICB and Jungle Bates. The ICB's got wet and were destroyed. The heel caved in and cut into the back of my foot. The protective part in the front also caved and left 3 nice gashes in my big toe. Found out they were recalled for being defective. The jungles I didn't like the feel of, but my brother wanted a pair so I gave them to him.

I was forced to buy another pair b/c black boots are on their way out for Marine Corps uniform.

If you're going to be running around in snow get a pair of ICB's, just not the suade brown ones. Jungles will allow water to get into the boot at the vents in the bottom near the bridge of your foot.

Also if you're running in a cold climate do not get steel toe boots. One of the links posted was for a steel toe boot.
