It's brand new and I priced out all the parts seperate and it comes out to $549 not assembled

the only draw back is low feedback, however he did just sell a macbook for 700 or something and the customer was happy

CPU and memory are bare minimum in today's world. Not suitable for games but fine for surfing, email, spouse box. I MIGHT go $225-250, definitely no more.

+1. Specs are minimal for modern gaming but if you're just wanting a super cheap machine to fanny about on for surfing teh pr0n, e-mails etc then crack on.

Curious as to why the graphics card is reasonably high end though (I'm told the 800 series 8800, 9800 etc are best) when everything else is mediocre.

I noticed that too. Just plan on bumping the RAM to 4GB at least. That might cost $75-100 tops. I'm all aboot the quad cores myself.

Here's my opinion...

550 Watt PSU: you will never be able to get a 260gtx VC or an sli config.... that sux in my opinion
MSI P35 Neo: only 1 pcie so may only use vc, not a sc, killer nic, etc jut vc and has NO onboard video which I kinda dislike, supports a decent Quad core which is kinda nice
PNY ram: always considered PNY meh/bad
9800: good vc with 1GB memory, they tendo to get a bit hot though....
WD 320gb: Nice storage amount
Case: Kinda cool looking
Dual Core: Pretty generic dual core, good for low activities (movies, internet, porn, etc)

Real Costs:
550 Watt $30
MSI P35 Neo $65
PNY $30
9800 1gb $100
WD 320gb $50
nice case $80
Dual Core $70

Verdict: pretty decent if ur too lazy or dont know how to put it together or if you wanna have just 1 seller to bitch at if it doesnt work personally would pay more than $300 for it..... mobo, cpu and ram could be better....

pny ram is typically sold at staples here is the states, which is prob why it's meh
