best routine for strength?????

I need to get a lot stronger, VERy quickly, in a particular lift......(snatch).
can anyone tell me what they feel is the best routine for pure strength in a specific exercise is??? (i.e.: sets vs. reps...and such)
without regards to anything else but strength gains...what do you guys think is the best approach to increasing a max on a particular lift? thanks
 
Squat. If you put enough effort into your squats, muscles all over your body will grow. Also, if I'm not mistaken, to Snatch you need some strength in your delts and back. For Delts, try a standing Military press or Push Press of some sort, and Barbell rows, Deadlifts, and Pullovers should hit the entire back quite effectively...

Most importantly, if you want to get bettter on a particular lift, you have to practice that lift. Practice Snatching every day. If you're sore, do it with an empty bar, but do it every day...
