Inspired by P0inks post (say that 5 times fast), what do you guys like to use and do you feel the blade lasts?
 
I've been using mach 3 forever but tried the '5 blade' whatever and it's freaking awesome! I got it in the mail and tried it. Fuck, they hook you that way. I wouldn't have thought 5 is better than 3 but fuck me in the ass, it is.

^^Yep. Best one hands down. Lasts at least twice as long too.

Damn... then it wasn't a one time fluke with that one. Fuck!! mo money....

Ehh, I'll buy another 100 on Ebay for dirt cheap and they'll last another 3 years. It's really a lot less stressful that way. You never have to think about buying more, running out or even think about how expensive they are etc... You just have 80 packs or so on your bathroom shelf for years. Sure you've spent the money for them already, but it's better than once a month flipping out over the price or whatever. I've found it refreshing to not have to buy them in 3 years.
 
Been using the Mach3 for years. What is this 5 you speak of. Bet the blades are $5 a piece too?

Ebay huh? Thats a great idea. I've been using Mach 3 as well but those things are definately expensive. I will definately look @ ebay for now on.
 
I've been using the 'fusion power' for about a year now and I can't switch back because it gives such a better shave. I like the backside blade it has for under my nose and sideburns. Blades last a week(and i have coarse hair) so they are worth the money imho.

With that said, anyone know a good electric. I want a back up razor for those quick days when I'm running behind.

Im with Gonelifting, the Mach 3 are the best for me.. the razor is heavy and sharp and glides without cutting

Thanks guys, I bought some Mach 3 (12 pack) for a good price and will see how it goes.

Good suggestions here.
 
Gillette Fusion (5 blades), the only thing that annoys me is that the packs have fewer cartridges than the Mach 3 packs. Other than that that it is better than Mach 3, saves time, too.

I use the schick quattro power.

In between shaves, I let the razor sit in rubbing alcohol.

Lasts 5 times as long.
 
I've been using medical razor blades. The kind they shave with to prep for surgeries. Its one blade with a guard to help keep you from cutting yourself. Its lasted me about 4 months, although I don't have as thick of facial hair as many in here.

My gf found one like it in an old emergency kit while cleaning. She uses it for shaving everything and it is working well for her. :)

i use a machetti!!!

i bought one of those old school double sided single razor blade shavers that open up like a butterfly!! it's a parker 79. i fucking LOVE IT!!!! i can easily compare it to the fusion imo!! i got 100 blades on ebay for 12 bucks.

That must suck. I coat my face with lard and then use coffee grounds to give me that 5 oclock shadow image so I don't get carded everywhere. It washes right off at the end of the day.

mach power fusion (vibrating 5 blade) with king of shaves shaving gel

i have really really thick facial hair so i need all the help i can get
