Best Magazine

I did a search for best magazine and it pulled up 2 thousand something different posts. Everything from penis to calves were pulled up. ha. So, I thought that I'd start this thread.

What is the best magazine(s) that you've found for bodybuilding, gear, nutrition, etc?

I subscribe to Men's Heath and Men's Fitness but I can't necessarily say that those are the best. Let's just say that I don't know what all is out there and so I'm reserving my opinion on these two.

Thanks,

Justin

There is only one in my book, Muscular Development. It covers all the bases, training, diet, sexual performance, supplementation, gear, etc. There area about 30 pages of nothing but abstracts from journals concerning these areas. It is definitely the most hardcore mag. They also have Priest, Wheeler, Cutler, Palumbo, and Cormier on board with their own monthly question answering pages.

Thanks - I ordered this Legal Muscle book from Amazon. Would've ordered it from Elite, but I was ordering some other stuff from Amazon at the time anyway, so I just got it from them. Can't wait to get it in.

Well if you want to put on 20 pounds of shredded mass in 3 months. Then musclemag is your ansure. They will tell you all about the nitro-tech, cell-tech, stack. at least 5 times might I add. But if you want to know how the pros train then FLEX it the ticket. I refuse to buy anything else but FLEX.

definatly

Muscular Devlopment, followed by Ironman, then maybe flex only cause its like a great pic mag so it gives u inspiration(and false dreams) lol

MD #1, and a distant second ironman. i read them all at work for free though. :p

I've actually never even looked at a bodybuilding magazine. Everything I learned was online. Only recently I brought two bodybuilding books, but that's about it.

Muscular Development
Muscle Mag International
Flex
At one time Muscle Media was the bomb but now it's just a fitness mag.
It use to be the bible on juice talk.
R.I.P. Muscle Media
Oxygen is a great mag for the ladies.

best magazine is Muscular Development, or the 'Net dude. Too many forums to visit-- loaded with more info than you need.

ha! Nearly ordered the IronMan comic book. Didn't realize there was such a thing . . .

lol. that is a good comic actually. ironman is the shit. you'd have been pissed to get a comic with a dude in an iron suit on the cover instead of a bikini bitch on the cover.

I am glad to see some people showing love to MD. Flex is nothing but recycled routines every month, nothing innovating. MuscleMag = Muscletech. Ironman is definitely my second choice. How can Flex show all these monsters and not have a single article about steroids, can you say brutal.

muscular developement, hands down. they arent afraid to give u the straight facts. love em but cant figure out why i cant get subscription. 7-8$ ea gets expensive

I'm not sure what it breaks down in price, but did you check out amazon.com? You can purchase a subscription from them.

About Muscle Media - isn't that owned by EAS or a part of EAS? They definitely push the EAS product line. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I could've sworn that Bill Phillips mentioned in one of his videos or books that he use to use steroids. Don't wanna spread lies, so please correct me if I'm wrong. So, I wish they'd publish a Bill Phillips - What cycle I use to be on Issue. ha.

no, i havent but thanks for the info, i definitely will. karma 4 u:D

Personally I like FLEX. It has a certain type of drama to it..... it makes it fun to read. Muscle and Fitness, and Muscle Media are both decent too.

Yeah bill phillips used to be juiced to the gills, before he was with eas, but he may still be, i dont know.-WULF

Bill Phillips got his start writing Anabolic Reference Guide had the book in the late 80's.
He made a killing on that book.
He started Muscle Media after that and sold Met-Rx at the time.
Bought EAS. I think he sold EAS last year.
He know makes over 100,000 per day.
I Think he still uses AS.
He admits to using T3 now.

Well, I've been receiving all of these magazines in the mail and I have to agree with some of the others, Muscular Development is my personal preference. I gain more information from their articles and spend more time reading this magazine than all others combined. Yes, there are ads, but unlike some magazines like MuscleMag, they're not just EVERYWHERE. Lots of quality information and much less JUNK ADVERTISING.

It's definitely the winner as far as I'm concerned in delivering quality information for men, whether it's steroids, supplements, nutrition or workouts. I like their layout the best, too.

My least favorite is MuscleMag. MuscleMag=Every Ad on Earth.
