Best Home Gyms?

My work schedule is HORRIBLE right now and I cant alway make it to the gym but I DO NOT want to miss workouts.

I have a bench and bar, heavy bag, free weight dumbells, and a REALLY BAD OLD universal gym (with pulleys and shit).

Anyways, I would like to get a NICE home gym, one that has the safety locking bench press bar so that I can push the weight higher but I then have a "spotter" so I can push the weight higher.

I still want to make it to the gym as much as possible, but some days I just cant do it.

Do you guys have any advice on GOOD worthwhile home gym setups, preferably a $1000 or less. If anyone has suggestions and links to some of the setups for me to check out, I would appriciate it!

thanks guys

just get a bowflex and it will pay for itself in saved meals. you dont have to diet when you use it but you will still look like a fitness model with only 40 minutes a day 2 days a week

Bow-flex! that's trash.. I bought my wife a PARABODY CM3 machine for about $1000 and she loves it. My teen son has recently started a program and is also using this machine.. I have a PARAMOUNT smith {gym quality} for sale if your interested..

Bro i would get some dumbbells and a power rack with a barbell. You can do pretty much everything in a power rack (bench, deads, squats, overhead presses, etc.) and you will have the dumbbells for all the dumbbell exercises.

Ok I found one of these on sale: Welcome to Impex Fitness

It should serve its purpose at home with the rest of the free weights, heavy bags, and cardio equipment that I already have. Im not using this to REPLACE the gym, but I wanted something I could use at home after or before LONG workdays, until I get a set schedule back at work.

You could get a better workout on the gym rings I recommended above. Rings will develop great shoulder strength and flexibility, not to mention back, arms, and abs. On my lazy days I do a set of squats and some ring work.
