a bunch of noodles is definately not the way to go. too much carbs. u never want to have an abundance of carbs before bed if you're trying to get lean. the biggest reason being carbs promote insulin secretion. higher insulin levels while sleeping is not a good thing because although insulin is anabolic to muscles, it can help u store excess fat as well. something high in protein with a lil fat to keep u satisfied is what i would take. i agree with basset on the cottage cheese, but if you are really trying to get lean i would cut out the yogurt.
