Best Competitive Tanning Product?

For those who have competed before or know of those who have. What competition tanning product do you feel works and looks the best for contest use. I used Pro Tan last time and did exactly what I was supposed to and when I began to sweat it still smeared and ran, but I know of many who love the stuff. I was also thinking about Dream Tan, which looks pretty good and seems pretty simple to use. So I guess it's between Pro Tan Instant Competition Color + One Coat Bronzing Mousse or Dream Tan. Anyone's opinions on the better of the two would be appreciated. Thanks.

pro tan is best applied using a blow dryer....apply the pro tan to the area you are tanning, dry with a blow dryer, gives a darker tan because of the heat and acetone in the protan....i used dream tan at last years mr. universe contest, had several coats of the pro tan on, was very dark, a friend from england suggested i try the dream tan, many of the other competitors were using it...i will never use it again.....it is messy, gets your trunks all stained, and gets all over your clothes...it does wash off easily but i think it is way over rated......i hear the NPC does not allow its use in the national shows.....

I think Dream Tan is the way to go, I find that taking an hour per shot to apply pro-tan is very stressful which of course could cause water retention. No base tan needed with Dream Tan, and you don't get that nasty look of pro-tan while it takes it's 2 weeks to wear off. I guess it's all trial and error, and what works for you.

Exactly, I have found that a good base with pro-tan followed by 2-3 coats of JT competition makes your look very nice. I have also added methyolate ( sp ?) in my protan for a nice look.

Ya gilly, jan tana good. I tried it for fun, one session, only lasted a week but was pretty dark for one session. Have seen dudes with multiple sessions and its looks really good.
