Cologne is a big hobby of mine and I am constantly sampling and buying. Here is my top 10 list:

1) Millesime Imperial by Creed - Its sad this has got the fewest votes in this poll, but thats only because so few people know of it and because of its high price. In a blind smell-off bewteen all men's colognes using both men and women as test smellers, I guarantee you MI would win. You can find it at Saks or Nieman Marcus if you want to test it on your skin.

2) Bvlgari Black

3) Gucci Envy

4) Green Irish Tweed by Creed

5) Dolce and Gabbana

6) Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey pour Homme

7) Thierry Mugler's A*Men / Angel Men

8) Terre D'Hermes by Hermès

9) Burberry London

10) Acqua di Gio (or Acqua di Conformity) It has to be on my list due to its overwhelming popularity- and it is for sure a great smell. But it is so way too popular it isnt funny, and isnt a good choice for someone looking to be a little more unique.

I just tried Kenneth Cole Reacion.
Nice clean citrus smell, great for going places where theres a lot of people.

got some dolce and gabbana.....smells ok for a change but i will still stay loyal to my calvine kline eternity. it's my "Signature Smell". :artist: :p

These are the tops in my collection:

1) Egotiste Platinum (called by a few women "orgasm in a bottle."
2) PI
3) Aqua Di Gio
4) Cool Water

I once went home with someone because of PI

there is a serious drool inducing note in that one. ROFL.

Polo and Aqua Di Gio are nice.... but everyone wears them..... I like when a guy wears a unique cologne, and I associate it only with him.

My boyfriend wears Amouage Dia Pour Homme. That is a certifiable panty creamer. lol And not many people in the US wear it. So yummy!

Issey Miyaki

Not all scents will work on all people, it does depend on your own phermones and biochemistry.

I would suggest trying some in a shop or getting a tester.

It also takes some time for a fragrance to 'settle' so the immediate scent may not be how it smells in an hour.

A few that I really like

comme de garcons (that square bottle with the scratches on it, forget the name)

Hermes, Cartier and Lalique also make great scents.

I wear some men's fragrances, they can work on women, and some women's scents can work on men.

Two of my favs are Paul Smith London (for men) and Burberry Brit Red/Burberry Brit, both for men.

If you are on a budget, Diesel Masculine or the new one are quite yummy.
