Best advice / Things learned along the way?

Guys - wanted to see what sort of responses would come from those who have played on the dark side. Lots of people say what to do, but often there are practical little things you learn along the way that would really be nice for newbies to know or at least be aware of.

Any big "damn I wish I knew that before I tried..." little nuggets of wisdom to share?

More is not always better ! Lots of gear wasted because I thought I would get bigger on more mg's.

Have Everything you need for your cycle before you start it...that includes PCT !!!

Exactly. Also diet is 90% of how you look. Gear is a supplement to proper training and diet. Not diet and training a supplement to gear.

i wish i had nolva for my first cycle, thats all i need to say

Test is BEST!

Just from looking at some of the common posts -- any suggestions on action to take if it happens or to avoid things like:

- high blood pressure
- liver failure
- gyno shows up
- limpy dick
- moodiness
- depression

Action to take, most peeps would say it would be the obvious, to stop cycle straight away. But then you are just wasting your money. Limpy dick i've never experienced. Moodiness and depression I have though and can be quite hard mentally and physically. I just reassure myself that reasons i am feeling this way is due to the gear, and everything will be back to normal once off. Get down the gym, and train, train, train. Then get home and sleep it off. Usually afterwards i feel much better. The way to avoid in the first place is to obviously stay as stress free as much as poss. And Liver failure, fuck me, just STOP the gear for sure. Which at this stage anyway you would probably be sitting in front of a doctor or in hospital. Gyno and HBP is just to take the usual in conjunction.

You can never have too many Anti-E's on hand! Most side effects can be avoided if savvy with Ancillaries. :)

If your Liver fails, you went too far with the juice(orals)!

always have everything you need for the cycle before hand so you dont get scrwed and end up with not enough or nothing at all to finish. I only have 2 cycles under my belt so i dont have much experience.

First, just because you are reading these boards doesn’t mean you are ready to use AS. I have come across so many people that read these boards and think that they are ready to take the plunge.

Second, just because everyone else is doing it (example: tren) doesn’t mean you need too. Take the safe route. If 500mgs of Test/Sus is working for you stick with that. Half the people on not just this board, but others as well aren’t to a point in lifting where they need to exceed simple, yet effect doses. Play it safe and stick with the basics for at least two years.

Three: Time off = Time on We only get one body, if you are going to use, be smart about it. Keep yourself safe.

Four: DO NOT USE DNP

Five: Reiteration of #2, you don’t need to stack a lot of compounds, again, most of us are not to that point in lifting. More Steroids doesn’t necessarily mean more growth. I think people would be surprised by keeping cycles simple. And not have the mind set the more I use the bigger I’ll be.

Six: AG – Guys are great.. They haven’t let me down yet

Seven: Bodybuilding in my opinion is 60% diet, 35% training, 5% supplements.. Added in there should be proper rest. I know people on AS push themselves to the limit. Yes, we do need to do this, but we do need off days. I know AS speeds up recovery, but off days are needed even with AS.

Eight: I have learn that Mr. X doesn’t sleep

Nine: Use human grade as much as possible (My opinion) You know for sure what you are getting

Ten: Always follow proper PCT- I know you dont want to, but you have to- that all I got to say about that

Eleven: Taking AS out of the blue will not get your ready in time for springbreak.. hahaha

Last but not least:

Twelve: ALWAYS DO SOURCE CHECKS/ AND YOU CAN DRINK WINNY

Don't introduce a new drug into your program on an empty stomach. When I was a newbie roid retard I got a hold of an injectable oil based drug(notAAS) called Thiomucase. The stuff has been around for years, but in the ealy 90's it was cutting edge. Anyway, instead of taking 1 cc like I was told to, I was gonna be a manly-man and take 3cc's. Welp, about 15 mins after I poked, I started feeling very light headed. I didn't know WTF was going on and I started fading in and out of conciousness. I even pissed myself on the kitchen floor. My roomie called the paramedics and I remember them showing up along with the cops. The cops were making fun of me. They were holding my bottle of Thio and asking me if it was piss that I injected as I lie on the floor bathing in my own piss. I spent the night in the hospital. Apparently such a large dose of Thio on an empty stomach caused me to have a hypoglycemic reaction-similar to how a diabetic gets w/o sugar. I guess I could've eliminated the trip to the hospital by drinking some OJ as soon as I started feeling dizzy, but that never occured to me at the time. Anyway, that little ordeal cost me about $1700 and the worst part was the whole neighborhood saw me get wheeled away in the ambulance. Everyone was assuming that I OD'ed on steroids. Like that's possible? Anyway, talk is cheap when the story is good. Inflated versions of that rumour went around town for months and I constantly got shit for it. I heard from a friend that went to my 10 yr high school reunion that people were still talking about my steroid OD. Fucking ridiculous, I know. But that's what I get for being a dumb roid puppy. At least the whole incident taught me that I'm not superman and I've been much more cautious about what I take ever since. Aside from an abcess in my tricep about 6 yrs ago, this is the only health problem I ever incurred while using BB drugs. I still get anxiety from it now and then right before I take a shot. I truly thought that I was going to die. I was lucky. If my roomie wouldn't have been there to call 911 I could've died.

Good post.

I think - high blood pressure
- liver failure
- gyno shows up
- limpy dick
- moodiness
- depression

Sums it up.

I would add bad Triglyceride Levels & Acne.

Drink at least 1.5 gallons of water every day. The more you drink, the less water you'll hold, and in turn the lower your BP will be. Water is one of the most important things and most over look it. Because it's free, I guess ;)

1) Test 300-500 a week more is not needed
2) 4 large solid protein meals a day
3) Lifting heavy is for power lifters, I am a BodyBuilder and look better than you or your ego thanks.
4) cardio is a must on any type of program. If you happen to be a pussy do at least 10 minutes of sprints post workout to keep the heart strong.
5) Moderation in all things, intensity when you decide to to the things you do, but it must be balance with all other obligations.
6) Chest is a higher rep muscle that must be worked twice a week

I wish I ate and drank alot more from the beginning also I half assed my PCT on my 1st cycle, then didnt do any PCT witha test/tren/winny cycle. Managed to recover.

Main thing was being addicted and drawn to AAS then coming off and dealing with the depression, all I could ever think of was getting back on.

You are on AAS, lift heavy and hard, eat like you are possessed. Train like old school bodybuilders, none of this new age crap do 8reps pause for exactly 10seconds stand on one toe then repeat. Dare I say, my training regime is mainly based around powerlifting style movements. I might not lift heavy but I lift heavy relative to my size.

research research, reasearch! figure out how everything works on your own rather than having to find out along the way.

don't just do what your bro "who's huge" tells you to do.
