Being fined for using profanity in public......

Just make sure you look over your shoulder before you drop the F bomb. ;)

The guy that I was talking about was in a car a a rail road X and was mad and dropped the F word and was fined 350.00. So look in your rear view too.

Profanity laws go back to the 1800's. They are still laws that are often overlooked in many states that haven't been taken off the books. A few years ago a guy got sued because he was white water rafting and said the F word. Family across the river sued him for cursing in front of their kids....think it was in Kentucky.

once the sheep figure out that they are just words, idiotic things like this won't happen. What if the word sheep would have been deemed bad back when they deemed such words as profane? And when did these words become profane? And who deemed them as such?
 
Since they add nothing linguistically and don't really help listeners to understand your point in the conversation, why use them ?

Can't you express yourself in another more socially acceptable way other than
using words that you know are unacceptable to some if not most in public ?

Or my beef is people that use them as part of their regular vocabulary, vs using
it as a means of expressing extreme anger or other interjection type situations.
