Before Pics, starting ground

Found this site a couple weeks ago and have been reading up on some plans to get back in shape.

I let myself go over the last couple months and am getting back on the fitness train again, cleaning up my diet, committing to the workout schedule.

Just wanted the motivation of having bad pictures up that need replacing with improvements.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! I’m really motivated to get my old bod back.
I’ll post pics at 2 weeks progress, we’ll see if the new training routine's kicked in. I packed on 10 lbs ( mostly fat )in the last 3 months and need to undo the damage, still kept most of my lean muscle though.

A hectic work schedule meant poor eating and not enough time at the gym, (not a good excuse I know) I’m hoping it was a short enough period that I can mend the damage in a relatively short time frame.

Here’s a link to the pics posted above…

You seem to have a good base. Train hard and good luck!

ha need to get back in shape?

dont think so ..your in good shape just gotta maintain it which is harder then getting there i think

that looks like a good starting position... you should be able to see some real results in a short amount of time...

Great base!
Nice bis and calves too.

What are your goals?
Just bodyfat or do you want to add some more muscle?

Get on the WOMEN'S board - I'm sure the ladies would love to meet you.

ps - just saw the bike pics - dancing or figure skating in your past?

they are probably after pics.....
Your right they're after shots … “after I look 4 months off and gained 10 lbs of mostly body fat”
Give me 2 months and I’ll post “after I kept my diet clean and my training regular” pictures. ;)

Velvett: Thanks! I just posted up on the Welcome sticky in the Women’s section.

Goals, yes I would like to get my bf back down, probably somewhere around 13-15%. I would also like to increase my strength, if that means more muscle than fine if not that’s fine too. Would like to see some more definition though, but that usually comes when you drop bf.

I did do figure skating when I was little, until I converted to hockey, no dance though, now its just Yoga as far as that type of thing goes… its great for flexibility and stretching out after a good legs session.

Posted 2 week progress pics in my space… haven’t leaned out as much as I hoped, but it took me 3 months to put on the weight, so I’m not expecting to loose it in 3 weeks.

Nice pics!
How did you manage to take all of those pics in a parking garage without people all around?
Took them on a Tuesday at 1 in the morning …. kinda added to the fun :qt: , BF took those shots as part of his going away present before he left for Europe.

GOOD GAWDDDDD, woman!

That kicks ass that you want to get BACK in shape! I mean, it doesn't look like you ever got out to me.

I'd hit it!

Oh my God, what am I saying? I am a married man.........sorry God :verygood:

Calling those pictures "bad" is an insult to a lot of people. I have been very careful to be respectful on EF so I am going to say this nicely, because someone needs to. You may be in "bad" shape for you, but to most people you are in great shape. I am not arguing that there is not room for improvement because there always is. However you maybe should have addressed that. No I am not a fat ass (however I used to be) and nothing bothered me more than people whining about great physiques as a way to get attention and fish for compliments. You look great, so what, a lot of other people do too. Improve sure, but don't just post pics and call them "bad" so that everyone will disagree with you and tell you how good you look. There are better ways to go about getting attention. Post your pics and try to improve sure, but something tells me this thread was posted to help your self esteem. I am not trying to flame you, just stating the obvious. Good luck with your program.
