i'm on my first cycle. 250mg sust every 3 days and 150mg deca every 3 days. i did not kick off my cycle with an oral like d-bol because i take another medication for migraines that is pretty hard on the liver and i didn't want to add the extra stress on it. so because of this it will take 4- 5 weeks for the gear to "kick in" correct? well, before i started the cycle i ate around 3000 to 3500 cals a day spread over 6-7 meals. i weighed roughly 225 at about 12% body fat. these were not really clean cals, but not to bad either. since i started my cycle, 20 days ago, i've gained 15lbs, most of it seems to be on my gut. i upped my calories to 4000-4500 a day at the start of my cycle. so my question is should i have waited for a few weeks to up the cals since i did not jump start with an oral?? i'm getting fat and i don't like it. i look like i'm fucking pregnant! i am obviously eating far more calories than i need. i am also taking .5 mg eod of arimidex, so i don't think it's bloat, unless it's from the deca, but isn't it to soon since the deca wouldn't even be active yet?? so, should i just cut the cals back or do cardio or what?? i only do about 10 min of cardio a day for a warm up, but i work out like a mad man 1 hour a day 5-6 days a week. i know this is a long post, but any suggestions would be helpful.

Hopefully you're not under the assumption that AAS is a dietary supplement. Eating clean is a major part of the gains made on a cycle.

no, of course not. i said i eat fairly clean. i think it would be nearly impossible to eat that many cals with nothing but tuna and rice cakes. i eat some junk food, but not much. were i gave the impression that i may think they are a dietary supp. is beyond me. i am not stupid, but maybe i sounded so. thanks for the reply.
 
You made the incorrect assumption that gear is "inactive" for the first 4 weeks...In reality your androgen levels rise almost immediately after yor FIRST injection...
Therefore your hormonal balnace is thrown off kilter right away...

Your answer sounds to me though like you are simply eating too many calories, and storing those excessive ones as bodyfat...:(

Cut back the caloric intake...
 
yeah i was under the assumption that with sust most of the test does not become active for 3-4 weeks because of the esthers and the same with deca. thanks i'll cut down the cals i think

Sust is a 4-blend testosterone with fast acting esters in it. Most people put on a good chuck of weight in their first week of a sust cycle.

I wasn't suggesting you were stupid bro but some people seem to think that AAS reduces bodyfat when it doesn't. If you're eating a high amount of carbs and not burning it off with cardio or high repetition sets then guess what, it stores as fat.

Even long acting test esters like enanthate will cause a significant rise and androgen levels within 24 hours after ONE injection...

Anyone who doubts that can go get test levels checked, take a single ml. of sust then go back 24 hours later and get them checked again (yes your doctor will probably think you are a nut...but when the results are seen...you will know...)

Very true. The baseline release of Enan is strongest within the first few days.
 
Cut your calories. I'm roughly your size and anytime I go over 4000 say good bye to the abs. You may want to drop back to 2500/3000 for 2 weeks and see what happens. In my opinion Noone can eat 4500 cals/day and not gain some amount of fat. Unless you are in boot camp.
 
Have you thought about water retention? Both deca and sus250 will make you retain water. If this the case then an anti-e could be a solution.

1) protein drink(olive oil 600/milk 210/water 0/powder 260/flaxseed 50+ oatmeal 200+ banana 102=1420cals

2) post workout drink=3 cups cranberry juice 390, four scoops protein powder 520, 2 baked potatoes 284=1194cals

3) chicken rice casserole-cup of rice 190 chicken 581, sauce 150 , two cups milk 280=1201 cals

4) T bone steak 1419, water with lemon (trace), mashed potatoes (400)=1819cals

5) protein drink with olive oil 600/powder 260/milk 210/ water 0 and protein bar 290 = 1360

6) two cups 2% milk 280 and 2 cups cottage cheese 440=720

Total calories: 7714

sure you can call those "clean" cals, but when it comes down to it a cal is a cal and any excess will be stored as fat. you go ahead and eat over 7000 "clean" cals and see how quick you turn into a fat ass. that may be better than living off of mc donalds and candy bars, but a calorie is still a calorie.

i am taking .5mg arimidex eod. maybe it is water retention. how do i tell the difference? i don't seem to have a whole lot more fat on me, just my gut sticking out. maybe i should up the dose to .5mg ed and see if it helps?
 
dude if you are bulking, then eat what you want in moderation. there is no need for a strict diet.

It is most likely water that you are holding anyway. Once you cut out the carbs it goes away.

well, when you are 260lbs lean that is enough to bulk. i was just giving an example that a person can get a shit load of calories that are clean. obviously you need to adjust to fit you. and if you cant realize that then you are a dumbass.

I know several that can.

I also know some pretty fat people like my dad who can eat more that that and not gain any more fat. (though I doubt too many of you are trying to look like him :) )

In my opinion, you should always add the calories slowely. If your body is used to you eating 3000 calories, and you are not putting on weight, then up it a few hundred, you should start gaining weight. When that weight gain slows down, that means that your body is beccoming accustome to the new calorie level, then you have to up it a few hundred more. I reccomend that you up the calories every week or two, by 100-500 calories. If you are adding accessive fat than either reduce slieghly or stay the same. Your body slowly getts accustome to whatever you eat, as it is always trying to maintain a balance.

Your gear was not fully active from the begining, although it was active. 4-5 weeks is when it is the most active in your body.

The best way to bulk is to find a calorie level that your body adds almost no bodyfat, but still adds a little all the time. anyting more than that, in my opinion will only help you get fatter.
 
I'm actually doing well with the Mcdonalds and protien powder diet. Yesterday I ate 7 quarter pounders with cheese, 3 large chicken breasts with a huge plate of rice, 2 60g protien shakes and about 2 L of milk. My average Mcdonald consumption per day for the last month has been 3-4 large sandwiches a day plus the other food I mentioned.

I'm not getting fat either, but I put in a good 1.5 hours 5-6 days a week. I think alot of guys either train like girls, have a shitty metabolism, or totally over analyze their diet. Eat, train, sleep and grow.

Oh, and i'm 100 percent natural right now.
 
No I ate 7. It was in 2 sittings. I can't think of any reason to lie.
 
JUBEI: From what i've gathered with the micky d's alone you take in about 3500 cals. including

266 grms carbs

210 grms protein

182 grms fat


Now IMO caloric intake varies greatly from person to person. some people may benefit from 5 and 6000+ ed intakes while others may not. Me personaly there's no way I could take in those kind of cals and not gain a considerable amout of body fat (chubb) as well.

Now peoples interpretations of what fat is differ, but I doubt your not gaining some cardio work bru. Also.......
