Beautifull songs, lets hear them.

"Murdered in the Basement" by Six Feet Under.

P.S. Shouldn't this be in the "Music" section?

LIstening to Norah Jones "Don't know why" right now on CD. She has a wonderful voice.

I teased Velvett with it the other night on a different thread, but the song "Black Velvett" is is very nice and sexy.

Perkele.

She really is extraordinary.

The woman who sings that song "Con Te Partirò" with Bocelli has a gorgeous voice as well. Have no idea what she looks like, but the voice is sexy as hell

There's an opera song you hear on a TON of commercials....no clue what the name is but I love it. It was used in the ending of a Sopranos episode once too.

Either Way-Guster
Politik-Coldplay

For:
solo guitar- Elevator Beat-Nancy Wilson

solo piano-Nocturne-Billy Joel (I guess there were lyrics written though):

When it rains
I watch the window
Golden dreams
Wash down the willow
Where are my Mardi Gras memories?
Under silver seas

Long cold nights
Change my reflection
Unsung songs
Show my direction
Where are my make believe victories?
Under silver seas

Ships pass over my head
Purple and blue, yellow and red
White sails catching the breeze
Sailing on silver seas

Once I lived
You might remember
Born in May
Died in September
Where are my carousel fantasies?
Under silver seas

"Gravity"
(A Perfect Circle)

Lost again
Broken and weary
Unable to find my way
Tail in hand
Dizzy and clearly unable to
Just let this go

I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live

I fell again
Like a baby unable to stand on my own
Tail in hand
Dizzy and clearly unable to just let this go
High and surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live, I choose to live, I choose to live

Catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
Help me survive the bottom

Calm these hands before they
Snare another pill and
Drive another nail down another
Needy hole please release me

I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me heal me lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live, I choose to live

"A Question of Heaven" - Iced Earth

"Tears of the Dragon" - Bruce Dickinson

Boz Scaggs' Harbor Lights is a beautiful slow romantic love song

Son of a Tokyo rose
I was bound to wander from home
Stranger to whatever i'd awaken to
Spun the wheel, took a shot in the dark
One way ticket and runaway heart
A sailor's dream came true the night I
dreamed of you

Through the neon doorways down the stony
streets I fell
All hands high side, all eyes a wreck,
I followed
sailing shadows reds and blues,
curtains drawn but I saw through
The window to your soul and I found you

The harbor lights of Venus are shining
through the breeze
That brings me back to you my love,
to you my love, to you my love,

My eyes must be betraying
But that lonesome juke box playing
Something about the harbour lights,
is calling me
Back to some Jamaican bay
Doesn't seem so far away
Keep the change but I'll repay these
memories

Dawn came in this morning like some
old junked out melody
The words she spoke as we awoke
still haunts me
What you feel too may reveal you
Let me steal you for my life

The harbour lights of Venus are shining
through the breeze
That brings me back to my love,
to you my love, to you my love.

The song has some of the most beautiful drumming ever by the late great Jeff Porcaro.

"Passage to the Other Side" - Seven Witches

I just downloaded This or That by Black Sheep. That song is at least a decade old. I used to listen to it when I was 12. Anyways, it's actually good and I'm impressed that I liked something 10 years ago that still sort of appeals to me now.

Time to say goodbye - Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman

I realize this crowd probably isn't into opera all that much, but the song "Just Show Me How To Love You" by Sarah Brightman is one of the most beautiful duos I've ever heard.

Otis Redding put out a few great love songs. "That's How Strong My Love Is", and "These Arms of Mine" are two that come to mind right now.
