I've never been much on cutting just because of the seasonal change, but this year I have really been missing that hard vascular look, so here goes!

Going to make this one short and sweet so that by October/November I can run a massive cycle I've been working on involving two compounds I swore to never touch again!

My workout is a 3 day split with a 5x5 incorporated into it, but will be ramping up the amount of cardio I do and I will keep my calories above 3500 to maintain the bit of muscle I do have.

1-6 Test Prop 100mg EOD
1-6 Katana 400mg
1-6 Anavar 60mg ED
1-8 Sarms S-4 (starting at 50mg and working up to 75 in weeks 4-8)
Ostarine 25mg ED all the way through PCT
5-14 HCGenerate
6-14 Unleashed/Post Cycle
6-14 Forma

Aromasin on hand, but I don't expect to need it much.

hey brotha! okay so just a few thoughts for you... most of it looks damn good... all the compounds you are running are right up my alley... =) just a few tweaks i would look at... i would run prop for 8 weeks... i know you want to keep it short but i think that two weeks will make a difference bro... i would also up to to 150 eod... your experienced enough! =) run the anavar the last 6 weeks... start katana from the start, that way you are staggered all the way through... i like you running sarms with it as well... calories look good for maintenance... you could run a low dose of cloimid if you like but if not i think your good... you've got everything else covered bro... should be a sweet cycle!

you don't necessarily need the daa but if you use it, just don't use it too long... the bloat starts to happen once you run it around like 6-8 weeks... keep it at 4-6 weeks and you should be good, but definitely keep an eye on it because its one that can cause it...
 
Yeah I'm not a fan of double digit bf but sometimes you gotta give a little to bulk..

So now I'm probably more focused on cutting it than ever in my life! If I could get below 8% and maintain my current weight ill be so happy with this run bro!

Id love to compete in the physique division at a show within the next year or two, so I'm not looking to get too massive just yet.

My long term goals are to hit 6 to 7% bf at 220lbs and I'm willing to give everything I've got day in and day out to reach that!

Thanks for the advice my friend, I value your opinion very much and draw a lot of motivation off of you, so someday I would like to return the favor!

I'm off to the gym to experience my first day of increased cadio! Took my first pin and doses today so I know the placebo effect is going to be in full force haha

I'm so pumped up to kill this shit already and I haven't even had my pre workouts yet! I can't imaginne what ill feel like when everything starts kicking in

Ill update tonight how the session goes, but I already know I'm starting it off with 250 yards of tire flips. My gym just got a new tire course with a 50 yard strip to go back and forth on and I've been itching to use it for too long!

What a killer session. I haven't worked out that much cardio in almost a year ago when I did my last Marine Corps marathon!

As I said, I started with tire flips. I'm in texas and lately it has been in the upper 90s outside, so I was pouring sweat from the very first 50 yards.

I intended on doing 250 yards, which is down the track and back 2 1/2 times with a good sized tractor tire, and on every other 50 yards I do a butt kick jump into the tire then back out, then flip it forward again and repeat.

I was so pumped I forced myself to stop at 400 yards! I took a two minute break and did 12X30 yard shuttle sprints followed by 4 sets of 30 weighted burpees.

I then went inside where it is air conditioned and started to cool off, so to keep the momentum and heat going I did 2 miles on the elliptical with the tilt on 8 and resistance on 5. About this time I started to get a little light headed so I drank a bottle of water and gave myself a 5-10 minute break.

The soreness from the pin this morning has already started setting in a little in my right quad, so to sort of combat this a little I did 15 minutes on the stairclimber, then a 5 minute break to stretch out and another 15 minutes with 5lb ankle weights.

To get a little core work in I did a max set of what we call mountain climbers in the marines, I'm not sure what they're really called. I followed this with 2X10min with a jump rope.

At this point I was feeling pretty beat. My legs were getting the jello feeling and I drank another bottle of water while I walked a slow 1/2 mile on the treadmill.



I practically had the gym to myself today for some reason which was good because I wasn't sure how much I was going to be able to do. I'm pretty pleased with my first increased cardio session, but am far from satisfied. I know I have so much room to improve and I can't wait to start seeing results in the mirror!!

I definitely have a new favorite cardio workout though, the tires are badass! I can also do it outside, in Texas, and shirtless (as long as noone else is outside) so I won't have to go out of my way to get myself tan!

Thanks bro but something tells me I'm going to need a little more preparation before I try and keep up with your crazy ass! Haha maybe have the ambulance and some smelling salts on hand and I will give it a shot!

Hey bro I am fuckin subbed!!! You know what, I respect Dylan's opinion but 50 mg test /day is more than enough to cut and stay horny as fuck , 350 a week = little bloat, 525 = some bloating! For me anyways even with prop ! 50/day with a little proviron is an amazing thing !

Yeah bro I was thinking that also, but then I've ran many prop cycles before, and ill be shredding a lot, so I settled for doing 125 eod and I'll adjust accordingly throught the cycle

Alright yesterday I kinda took it lightly I was really feeling those shuttle sprints from wednesday so I only did a 2 mile slow jog and a lot of stretching. Using muscle groups I haven't used in awhile so I feel like a new man today!

I woke up this morning feeling slightly more pumped than usual, so its safe to say the placebo affect is still kicking! It was pin day again and then I hit the gym knowing I was going to kill it!

Started off with 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the bike to warm up

flat DB bench 85X10 85X10 90X10 90X10

BB bench 140 to failureX2

Dips to failure X3

Incline flys 40X10 45X10 45X10 45X8 (couldn't get another one, those dips fked me up!)


Ended chest day with DB pull overs but at this point I was mainly just cooling down. The a/c in the gym was acting up and it's in the upper 90s here!

I have moved some workouts around as a 3 day 5X5 is used mainly for bulking up and I'm going for a more aesthetic look for this cycle. I will update how it turns out

Felt really good today and am still pumped to hit some more cardio tomorrow! I can't wait until the S4 and prop really start kicking in and I can start feeling more than the placebo effect, cause I'm already so hyped I'm going balls to the wall!!

nice work brotha... the good thing is that s4 kicks in fucking quick... fuck, for me it kicked in pretty much the same day but on average it should be around 2 days... prop will definitely kick in quicker too... keep bustin ass bro... continue to mix in endurance and HIIT in your cardio and watch the shred come!

Thanks man. I'm thinking tomorrow I should start feeling it kick in pretty good. Prop in the past for me has always kicked in within the first week. The S-4 has me a little worried since I have been using 25mgs twice a day for 3 days and nothing yet, but I've got enough experience dealing with uniquemicals that I know the shit is legit! I'm loving the HIIT so far and I'm gonna hit the tires again in the a.m....I'm like a kid at Christmas haha

How fast did katana start kicking in for you? I haven't noticed really much more sweat than usual yet.

s4 should kick in anytime bro and i would give katana at least a week or so to really kick...

Alright well I definitely feel the prop and S-4! I'm pumped as hell all day and am ready to kill shit from the time I wake up to the time I lay down

The wedding went nicely, and I only had one small piece of cake so I didn't do to shabby diet wise.

I hit the tires as soon as I got to the gym and used the biggest one this time. I knocked out another 400 yards with the same heel to butt jumps on every other pass.

I was feeling great after this, so I did 3 ten minute sessions on a jumprope on a thick pad which fkng killed my calves! I then did a 25 minute bike ride and a 1 mile jog. Then hit the shuttle sprints again X12

At this point my back started to tighten up on the right side about halfway up. I'm assuming this is from the tire flips...

I pushed through that and did seated DB shoulder raises 50sX10X10X10 55X8

Ropes until burnout (about 90 seconds) X3

Seated DB shrugs 120X10X10X10

Standing shrugs 100X10 120X10 125X10 135X12 (feeling strong lol)

I moved to do shoulder press and put on 165 for a warmup set to asses my right shoulder pain like I always do, but before I even fully pushed out one rep, something in my back caught and sent me to the floor....

I tried doing a few other excercises but even with almost no weight I was in quite a bit of pain.

Now I'm not one to complain about something, hell I do legs twice a week with double my body weight and my right foot is 75% titanium from being crushed before. But I'm telling you bros this is some bullshit...

I woke up this morning and couldn't stand up straight, my back is so swollen and tense on the right side that my spine looks severely curved and I'm standing with an arch to the side even when I try my hardest to stand straight

Today I'm going to take it easy and try ice/heat on and off and see if it loosens up

Brotha...that was one hell of a workout, and could have easily been two separate workouts. Yes, gear will make you feel like Superman and that you could just tear it up all day, but this is not how you want to tear it up. You don't want an injury like your back at the start of a cycle, even when on cycle we need to train smart, and not push it too hard...well, need to lift heavy and make every rep challenging, but not over do it...make sense? I know we all see Dylan going at it in his log and he has incredible endurance when it comes to lifting and cardio, but he is not of the norm lmao. Ice, heat, Ibuprophen, and rest is what the back needs, and a trip to the Chiro if indeed your back is curved...it may be out of whack...although the Chiro won't adjust if your muscles are swollen or inflamed...so try to get the inflammation down then maybe some light stretching. Tire flipping for 400 yards at the beginning of your workout with the heaviest tire may have been a little overzealous...just rest and take care of it and hopefully it won't have you down that long...be smart and listen to your body brotha!

Thanks for the encouragement bro, I need it today I'm pretty bummed. I do feel a little bit more loose but there is still a good deal of sharp stabbing pain when I move around.

I do think it was the tire flips that got me since everything else I did was fairly ordinary.

I'm going to have to just try and control it and make my health #1 while still pushing myself as much as possible

I do feel like a monster though! Lol loving the pumped feeling

Yeah I can't wait either bro, that euphoria you get from being on is better than any high IMO...not that I have done a bunch of drugs, you get my point. Tire flips are a tremendous workout, and would be better saved for an off day from weights while on cycle. Keep positive, don't get down, focus on healing and positive thoughts that you will in next few days, but stabbing pain needs to be addressed. Chiropractor would be a good idea once swelling is down. Damn, first OWL, then Dylan with the flu, and now you...all of you balls to the wall bros need to remember that you are still human and need to take it somewhat slow...the old saying "slow and steady wins the race", enough lecturing from a good ol' dad here lol, just keep icing, heat, Ibuprophen, and light stretching...you will be back in no time bro!

my man, i already know what is wrong... you popped your back out of place, sciatica is hitting a nerve, inflammation, etc... you need to hit the chiro, hopefully you have insurance... it might take two or three sessions and you will be fine... now just listen to your boy here on something... I will NEVER EVER give you any sort of a lecture... A its not my style and B your my fucking boy so that's not how we do BUT just trust me on something...

I FUCKING LOVE how amped you are and that you are incorporating so much cardiovascular activity into your workout... trust me, im more happy and proud of you than anyone but yourself but bro, you haven't been training cardio like this in how long?? you have to ease into this properly... you will continue to have injuries if you don't... you can still go fucking hard, but you have to be a bit wiser about how you go about it... you need to mix things up... set up a schedule where you are doing certain things 2-3 times a week... like your tire flips... right now, only 2 times a week, then bump to 3 then even to 4 once your body adjusts but you just threw it into a huge schock because all kinds of different areas that were not getting worked before are all getting worked at once and your body doesn't know what the fuck to do and your just going to keep having this happen... you have to ease into it and each day or week bump a little bit more and little bit more and before you know it, it will just be an every day activity but that will take at least 2-3 weeks to get fully adjusted... then, your all good... just trust me on this one... i know how hard it is when you want to go balls out, but if you don't do this then you'll never get on a normal schedule of doing this properly... i want you to get the absolute most you can get out of this and to do that, you have to be smart! good luck bro!
 
Yeah, as much as I don't want to say it, you're totally right about me needing to tone it down...I appreciate the advice bro, I hit the chiro today and he said I have a pinched nerve. I told him everything and what I was trying to do over the next couple of months, and surprisingly he took it well and even gave me a couple of tips for preventing this for the remainder of the cycle.

He adjusted me which hurt like fuck, but he said as long as I take it easy and keep up the ice/heat, he sees no reason why I couldn't hit the gym again on Wednesday and do a light session. He said he would reccomend me taking longer off, but from the look of me I know my body and what to do. So just listen to my body and when it gives me the green light I'm back at that shit!

It's incredibly hard taking these few days off, i'd give anything to be killing shit right this minute! But I keep telling myself, one more day of stretching out, ice/heat, and I'm back!

I'm going to come back into it slowly and ramp it up over the next couple of weeks until I'm full blast again!

anytime bro.... i have been dealing with back problems for over a decade and you know i broke mine as well so I know how much of a hinderance it can be and I don't want you to have to deal with any of that bro... take good care of it!
 
Alright today more stretching and ice/heat. I feel loads better and will be looking to at least do some light low impact cardio tomorrow!

Taking a 2 day break from the gym has seriously been one of the hardest things mentally to have to deal with. When your life is based around a solid routine that you love, and then it is changed without warning, you don't know what to do with yourself.

No worries though, I'm back and will be ramping up back into my old self throught the week/weekend!

Felt loose today. Really rusty, and to be honest a little nervous trying not to re-injure my back.

Started with a 20 min bike ride and 20 mins on the elliptical.

Felt pretty good after that so went ahead and did a solid bicep workout. I usually do back when I do biceps but for obvious reasons I left that out.

Won't post numbers since I was only doing moderate intensity to see how I could handle it, but I did a lot of low weight high rep stuff. Like DB seated curls 30s 8 sets of 15.

Finished the workout with pullups, but only did as many as I could before I started kipping so I used only arms, no back

First set was 29 full dead hang, 2nd was 22, 3rd was 18 and 4th was 10.

I feel pretty good about being back and my biceps like it too :)

If I am feeling this good tomorrow, I'm hitting chest and triceps, and will do some sprints and maybe bleachers!
 
Glad to see your back at it , so tough to take time off when it's your passion. Take it easy till you feel good you can always make up for it with a couple extra weeks of prop :P just sayin haha! I'll be checking in again soon bro see how your doing! Until then it's bed time !

Ok bros, a lot has happened. I toughed it out until I was in so much pain I was vomiting and sleeping less than 3 hours a night. I got a thoracic scan and a rib xray, and got the results showing 2 broken ribs.

Not sure how the hell this happened but I will be postponing this cycle for at least a couple weeks until I start feeling a little better. I was only on cycle for 5 days so I should be fine to stop right now.

Talk about deflate you like a balloon bros...I'm so bummed about this and can't believe I'm having to stop training to deal with an injury.....

I will keep everyone updated on my progress, but as I said it will be a bit before I can safely lift. Not really sure exactly how I was still training anyways and even set 2 PRs lol

Wow...probably more than a couple of weeks bro, I am camping but had to check in here and say would you take it easy psycho!!! Lmao, what we do in the quest to build muscle and our physiques! Broken ribs hurt bro, I am shocked you were even able to train, and two weeks isn't enough...wait until you are 100% bro, don't push it, and let your body heal. I truly am bummed for you as well, but you need to take your time and let those ribs heal completely prior to jumping into your cycle. Please keep us updated as to your recovery progress, and just like OWL has to do...rest and recuperation brotha!

I know bro, but it just chews away at me knowing I'm out of commission! And to top it off, last night my girl said I looked like I was losing weight...

It's a shitty situation, but I'm going to do my best to get better as soon as I possibly can. Doc said I should be good to go on light cardio such as bike ride within 3 weeks, but I still can run or lift...

They will be calling me this afternoon with an absolute diagnosis, but the preliminary results show no back injury and no sign of compression, so that's good. I'm getting a second opinion because there's no way I broke two ribs without falling or being hit or anything....

Hey bro that is really odd but I've heard of people breaking ribs from coughing attacks and such. Either way I wish you the best and a fast recovery.. You have your whole life ahead of you to cycle so it is probably best to just rest heal then jump back on the wagon and push even more so with more determination than ever. Keep us up to date with how things turn out

Word to my brothers here, do not eliminate all dairy from your diet unless you increase your calcium intake enough to compensate! Doc asked me about my diet and then told me I was more than likely injured in my training by a muscle spasm or dry heaving and my bones were weak enough to crack a couple ribs.

He knows about my AAS use and advised I take it easy, but doesn't see why I can't come back this week and do some lifting as long as I don't go crazy.

Its not like they can do anything for cracked ribs anyhow!

Btw greek yogurt is now back in my diet, even while shredding!

I had cut it out completely for about 10 months except for a little 3 weeks beastdrol run a couple months ago.

I'm just gonna take it slow and easy and do some light cardio. I'm feeling a lot better this week than I expected though!

I'm at work but will post my workout up when I get home
