I agree... Bonds has stepped it up HUGE in the playoffs... if they win, he should get MVP of the playoffs for sure. After not performing AT ALL in all the previous years, this year he is batting 500 and has 8HR in the playoffs.

I was a track and field athlete in college. If I won my event, I won. But the team wouldn't win without enough points... but I wouldn't NOT win my event if someone else didn't keep up their end.

Which is why BONDS has to light a torch under his teams ass if they are to win.

Angels? Lucky? 18 games this year they have come back from being down after the 7th inning. In THREE post season games they have been down by 5 or more and come back to win. I'd say luck if it happened ONCE, but when it happens TIME AND TIME again... it's just shows the Angels have the heart to not give up and play up when it counts.

I wouldn't say he "deserves" it unless his team wins. Having said that I would like for him and Shawon Dunston to get their rings this year.

Nothing at all against The Angels....I like most of the team...especially the relievers. Bonds and Dunston have paid their dues though....would be nice to see them finish it off.
