Ladies have you tried this make up? I've watched the infomercial so many times and gave it a try at Ulta yesterday, but is it worth the money? The website says they'll send you refills every second month...$25.00 per tin and you need the foundation and the setting powder...what do you think? Oh plus you need to buy the special Kubuki brsh to go with it. Is it as good as they claim?

i sell BE at my salon...i love it...we have an intro kit....2 foundations, a mineral veil, warmth, 3 brushes( including kabuki), skin revver upper and a dvd for 60$. if your interested PM me. you wont need it that often...1 do 2-3 foundations a year..

I LOVE this makeup. It's light. You don't feel cakey or "made-up". It does EXACTLY what it says it does. It totally evens out skin tone. The Mineral Veil is awesome! I get mine at ULTA too. It's TOTALLY worth $25.00! It only takes a tiny bit to do your whole face, so it will last you about 3 months. Go get it! You will LOVE this stuff!!!!

I get Bare Minerals (same thing) from my dermatologist and I love it. The only problem I was having at first was that my skin is very oily and was shining too quickly. A friend told me to use a bit of the mineral veil before the foundation, then topping off with the veil again. It worked.

I love their eyeshadows!

The make-up doesn't clog your pores so if you're prone to breaking out this will help. You can even sleep in it. I usually take a bath before going to bed and use my cleansers and moisturizers, then if I'm wanting to stay up with hubby for a while and do naughty things, I do a light application of the male-up so I feel better about the way I look and don't have to worry about taking it off before falling asleep.

I have seen this stuff a Spephora been meaning to try it. Next time I run out of foundation I think I will splurge on this.

I LOVE this stuff! Get the kabuki brush to apply it. It looks beautiful when you apply it with this!

I have seen it, Almost made me think of buying it when I saw the Advertising Comercial. Then again I dont really wear make up except for lip gloss and black eye liner.

superqt, sephora is a good store. :)

YES
YES
No, butit is nicer with the mineral veil - I like the mineral veil alone.
YES.

I wouldn't do the auto refills though and I buy them individually when I need something from QVC. The first time ordered I ordered this: http://www.bareescentuals.com/id/

By the way, they have the prettiest loose eyeshadows that I have EVER used. Buy their "glimmers." They are BEAUTIFUL! Their brushes are very high quality, too. Skip on their lipsticks and glosses. The best for lipsticks and glosses is Chanel, in my opinion, and I am a big makeup wh0re...lol.

I'm certainly going to try it. I use MAC, put it on to go to Mardi Gras this weekend, it was so damn orange. I didn't even realize it till I was halfway there in the car. I was so pissed.

I love B.E. makeup my gfriend got the 140 kit and wow we went out dancing and drinking and didnt have to retouch not once!!! I love the stuff. I love the fact i can use the really dark eyeshadow(cant remember name right now) as a eyeliner as well.
Lip stuff though i will only use estee lauder.

I watched the infomercial for the first time yesterday and then looked it up online. I decided against getting any because I rarely wear makeup, even the "sensitive skin" makeups make me break out if I wear it on a regular basis. When I do wear anything it's usually just lipstick.

Needless to say I usually throw more makeup away than I use because it gets old, cakey and gross. LOLOL

I have really blotchy/red cheeks, and it's near impossible to cover it up with regular foundation + powder. Do you think this will help cover it up without looking so "mask-like"?? I have such a hard time finding make-up I like and that looks fairly natural. I have drawers and drawers full of stuff that I bought and hated. :(

BE covers/blends redness without a mask effect, seriously. You need to get the right colors, might need to have them help you select the foundations and cover up.

And the brushes are ABSOLUTELY the best I've ever used. I've had mine forever with no bristle loss, and they wash up beautifully!

Good stuff, worth the money!

Shit I have no idea, they have a store in a mall not too far from my home ... maybe someone else knows where they're carried???

They have a website too, I think ...

WOW!! I have seen this on t.v but thought nothing of it. Someone has always got something newer and better. I have used Clinique for years and of course something newer and better always came out. I may have to look into this. By the way the Sephora website is awesome, great perfumes and stuff for your lips!!

I was home bored on Saturday morning and I bought way more make up than I will ever need or will finish anytime soon.

LOL

I can't wait to get it.

I bought from QVC:

Summerfest 4-pc. Eye & Cheek Collection
6-piece Spring Deluxe Collection
Latte Lips and Face Color 4-pc. Collection
Trudy Face Color with Brush

What's funny is that I don't wear a lot of make up but I love this stuff and the color were just so fun I couldn't help myself.

Note to self: Don't shop online with spring fever.

I used to use Bare Minerals...then I went to a BeautiControl party & fell in love. Their makeup is THE BEST!! I have extremely dry skin, have never had a makeup really work until BeautiControl. Plus they have the most aggressive skin care lines out there. EVerything is just awesome!!

I just got Bare Minerals last week actually and I love it!

lol, funny, didn't mean for something like this to be my first post but this thread jumped at me since I just got the stuff:D

Sorry to boost an old thread but I'm thinking about buying some mineral makup for my girls and there are soooooooooooo many different brands of mineral makeup now that I'm not sure which is which and which one is better than another one. (I rarely wear makeup so I don't stay in the makeup loop.)

Are there any updates from anyone?

Has anyone tried any different mineral makeups that aren't mentioned in this thread?
