Balsamic Vinegar.

i am currently addicted to balsamic vinegar!! I do not have my bottle in front of me, but I think it has no carbs and about 15 cals per serving...

cider vinegar is also pretty good

2 grams of carbs total, all 2 coming from sugar

Vinegar is great, cider vinegar is carb free. Try vinegar and soy sauce mixed together and dip each bite of chicken into it, its not bad when dieting.

Anthrax pretty much hit the nail on the head with his post....but another reason I would take a swig with a lot of my meals during pre comp is to counteract any insulin spike caused by the meal. The acidity will lower the GI of the meal. For example, look at the GI rating of sourdough bread versus wheat bread. The acid in the sourdough bread lowers the GI during digestion and absorption.
