Bad News(Liver)

Hey guys! just got back from the doc today with my blood test results. My cholesterol and My Thyroid function are fine but my Cardiac/Muscle enzymes and Liver are high. My Ck is 645, My Gamma GT is 81, ALT is 35 and my AST is 40. How serious are these. I got more blood taken and go for a liver ultrasound in 2 weeks. She also told me not to take Milk Thistle(WTF??) I thought it was supposed to help your liver. I have been off for 4-5 weeks and now my summer cut cycle is on hold indefinatly and no Accutain for MUSTANG This acne will be with me for a while. Any advice or info would be a huge help and relife. Any Advice ?

Doc knows best

Clinical studies have shown slight improvements in liver function for those on Milkthistle tabs vs the placebo tabs. Your doctor knows this and if there was significant improvement in liver function from Milkthistle it would not be over the counter. Any more pills would probably cause more harm than good at this point. Kind of like those Estogen pills over the counter anti estr. What a joke. Best thing for your liver is time to recover and heal.
that really sucks man especially since your probably going to look your best yet after a cutting cycle.

I hope your next test yeilds better results.

By the way do you have pustules or acne? If you have developed pustules, ususally around 10 days after a Deca cycle this cant be treated by accutane. It's a blood infection that might have not been tested for. Antibiotics will rid this. But as you know antibiotics are hard for the liver also.

Milk Thistle is a preventive measure, once you reach those kind of numbers, you need liver tissue regeneration more than anything. Hope everything works out ok, the liver is a resilient organ, so if there's going to be problems that may not be as bad as others. At the very least you'll have to make some diet/lifestyle changes for a while, hang in there.

What are pustules?

Pustules are pussy mounds of oozing acne like bumps. Most people believe they are severe acne but are actually an infection from dirty injections or more commonly Brovel deca. The toxins in the blood are released into the pours to try to exude the infection. The skin then becomes infected and turns into bumpy purple oozing whiteheads. Nasty things and they can leave scars.

This results is wrong for sure, it's impossible that GGT would be higher than SGPT(ALT) & SGOT(AST)
anyway, the max. normal level of GGT is Under 80 U/liter
being 81U do not make a big different

and your Creatine Kinase CK isn't that bad the normal ratio should be under 600 IU/l
but I wanna say something being more than the max. results with 2% isn't a major problem, I have a lot of friends who got 360U on the SGPT & 285U on the Gamma GT

I would measure for Glutathione level first
High GGT with Low SGPT(ALT) & SGOT(AST) is usually occur while Glutathione level in the liver is low

For sure you used a lot of roids in the past few years including Anadrol or other drug that might caused a decreasing in Glutathione (A natural substance which the body makes to protect the liver & works as an anti-oxidant) and some Steroids decrease the production of this substance

Thanks for all the help and replys guys. I have talked to a couple of friends down at the Pharmasy as well and they said there is really nothing they can give me to help the liver right now, but my readig are not that bad(Thank goodness) I will go for the ultrasound in 2 weeks and see what it shows. At least this gives me more time to order for my cut cycle, this one will be HUGE Thanks again for all your help.
