Bad day for me

I got my car towed and a parking ticket. Yeah me! It was a start to a good vacation! NOT! $260 I could have gone shopping with instead of BS :( My fault though so I can't cry over it for too long.
 
Well apparently there was this sign that I did not see. It was 5:45 in the morning though so my eyes weren't the best. Like I said my screw up so I can't cry about it much, but still pissed me off. I hate it when you mess up and have nobody to blame but yourself. lol It still sucks though! I hate wasting money. Hard lesson learned. This was my first parking ticket and towing ever.
 
Sucks!!!

My truck got towed once and I had parked where my then girlfriend said to. The business owner next door said it would be ok. Guess he changed his mind.

Well the thing is everyone parks on this street. There were other cars parked on the same street as me and I have parked there before. I guess I should have pulled my car up closer to theirs because there was this sign that said you couldn't park in this one spot on the street that I never noticed before. I could not have been more than half a car behind it though when I noticed the sign. I remember exactly where I parked. Sucks! Probably towed me because my back tires crossed the line. Sucks!! I didn't even notice the sign and when I went out I thoght my car had been stolen. lol

Wow. I am the parking ticket queen. At one time I owed $600 in parking tickets.
I've never been towed before though. I was booted once, but I flirted/begged till the guy took off the boot and let me go.

Thanks! I feel better already. The best way to get over it is to just not think about it. I can't change it so move on. The weekend is here and I am off until Wed so that is something to be happy about.

when i played semi-pro football we all would meet up at a restaurant every Saturday morning we had an away game. the team bus would pick us up there and we would go to our game which could be as far as Miami. well when we returned from one of our games all the teams cars were towed but 2. the tow truck was in the process of hooking up one of the last cars. well the entire football team got out of the bus and surrounded the tow truck and demanded he let the car down. he was shitting a brick. when the rest of the guys went to pick up their car it was $200 per car to have it returned. even though we had permission from the manager of the restaurant the tow company still towed the cars. the manager back peddled and said he didn't give us permission. the tow company had to call the police because there were quite a few 300lb+ linemen ready to whoop the owners ass. he agreed to lower the tow fee to $50 a car. from then on we started going to a different restaurant and had them give us placards we put in the windshields of the cars when we parked there with the managers signature on it. oh and the other manager of the restaurant the cars got towed from got his ass handed to him a few days later. by who, i have no idea... :good:

Yep I am up and already made a run to Starbucks! My hubby's work was calling at 6:30 this morning so I got up and went and got me a latte :)
 
I have to stay home anyway for the next few hours. I am waiting on comcast and you know they give you like a 4 hour window and don't show up until the last 10 mins so you sat at home for hours for nothing. Last weekend they didn't show up at all and said they came and I was not home. Assholes.
