Back spasms

Trance

New member
Hi - I have yet another question...

I've noticed recently that I have been having massive spasms in my back on my off days. They don't hurt, but they feel very strange - like there is electricity shooting up my spine(not in a good way...lol). I'm not sure what this could be from.

I have been working very hard to maintain good form, and have been training 4 days per week(2 - arms/chest/back, 2 - butt/legs abs), but I have also been doing a lot of crunches.

Could this be from the crunches, or is it more likely from the weight training?

Again, it doesn't hurt, but it just doesn't seem right and is therefore freaking me out a little...

I'll give it a shot.

I don't think they're doing much good, anyway, because I can do about 300 and barely feel any burn.

Trying to get rid of that C-section tummy. &%@#!!!!

;)

Was just concerned, because it feels like I'm getting 100 volts up the back every few minutes.

Anti-I?

You lost me on that one...

I think I should just say "screw it" and have a tummy tuck. Nothing gets rid of post-c-section tummy butt. LOL It;s been almost 4 years, and still....ick.

My guess is that the way you've been eating wasn't optimal for fat loss. MARLA DUNCAN HAD A C-SECTION. Lipo is a last resort... Test this new way of eating first. PLEASE?!?

Anti inflamatory.

Ah.

No, I was kidding about the tummy tuck - no way in hell I would go under the knife willingly. Ack.

Unless I sell my child into slave labor and HE pays for it. heheheheheheheh.

3 1/2.

Going on 8.

Looks about 7.

If anyone should be a bodybuilder in this family - it should be this kid - solid as a brick, and BIG.

bwahahaha is RIGHT! LOL

I know what you mean, mine is in a six clothes and thirteen shoe. He's huge.

I hope he's going to be freakishly tall. :D

Last week the child freaked me out. I was in the basement lifting, and he walked up with a 20-pound dumbbell and said, "Here, Mom" just as easily as pie.

??!!

(I of course had to scream at him for touching the weights, since he knows better, but I couldn't believe he picked the damn thing up...LOL)

He's adorable....VERY HANDSOME!

he'll be a heart breaker someday! lol!

aren't kids wonderful...well...most of the time...

mine is almost 7....going on 18....he's in 7 jeans and 2 shoes....his feet are gonna be huge....hubby wears 12 1/2s and i wear 9 1/2.....he's tall too...but skinny....he's is 52" tall but only weighs 51 lbs! and eats like a pig....we had the same metabolisms as kids....boy has that changed!

i was 5'-9" and 115 lbs when i graduated high school....yuck!

but back on topic...be patient....you will get your tummy back!

and the spasms....could just be that your lower back muscles are weak....I had this problem and really had to work to strengthen lower back so I would hurt my back on squats....

do u do hyperextensions each week? if not try slowly adding sets of those into your workouts....it's really helped me build up my lower back strength...
