Back from the ER

well that knot in my delt from the Test E shot turned out to be filled with pus. Went to the ER and used the B12 story. they made the incision and then spent about 20 +minutes just squeezing the fuck out of my shoulder. that felt way below average. going back in an hour to have the gauze removed from the open wound.

What have I learned?

I truly believe this was caused by poor injection procedure on my part. More specifically I injected too fast. In the future if I get a knot again, (uh, I guess I just answered my question of whether I'd do this again) I will hit the heat pad right away and maybe even get my hands on some keflex, which is what I'm on now. they actually gave me an iv as well and were going to do the same today. funny thing, when I asked the doc what kinds of things will cause these abscess', she mentioned dog bites, puncture wounds, ingrown hairs...but never even mentioned AAS.

thanks again to those that responded to my earlier thread, it did help me make an informed decision.

Good to here bro. i missed the earlier thread .. what happened? What gauge were you using? How many mgs did you put in? what did you do wrong?

I've had those before when I was using winstrol. Mine were in the inner thigh area. Words cant describe the pain I went through when they were extracting the puss.

I seriously think the doc didn't believe my b12 story, but she never said a thing about it. she acted like she believed, but when she was pushin on my shoulder and squeezing, it was brutal. I mean I couldn't massage it myself and here she was pushing with all 120lbs of her might. I did have anastesia(sp?) so I didn't feel the incision, but i felt every bit of that extraction process. Now I have to go back to get the gauze pad out and she told me to expect some pain and that I should take advil AND vicodin before i come in. So I'm smoking a big fat bowl with my painkillers and off to the ER again. I'll post again later today with an update of how much fun this second visit will be.

keflex is a common antibiotic given for various reasons. I was prescribed it when I had pins in my thumb. It will clear up your acne (if you have it).

not cool bro.. but glad you're ok.

what type of test e was it?

That sucks bro , I hope you feel better.

I am curious though s to how much you were injecting..
Also what brand? was it dirty? or was it just too much for the spot to handle?

it was 1cc of Proline Test E in my right delt. Since that shot, I mixed 1cc of primo with 1cc of the Test E in my glute and absolutely no problem. My injection procedure is definitely 100% clean. I would bet money that what caused it was that I injected way too fast. First off, the Proline Test was very thick, hard to draw with even a 23g, so I'm guessing that didn't help with the rapid injection I did. I shot with a 5/8" 25g. they took the gauze out of the opening and now it's just got a dry gauze over it and it's still open, supposed to heal from the inside out.

Just for those that are curious... this won't keep me from juicing down the road, but I will definitely take more precautions when it comes to injecting. Mainly, I'll have someone else do it. I was only 3 days into this short 3 weeker, so I'm just stopping altogether for now. I'll get back on in late May or June. Lots of leg workouts for me this next week.

Now it's all coming together. Proline is crap. Who knows what kind of bathtub concoction he uses when he mixes his gear.

Shit man, that sucks. So far I have not had that experience! Gald you are okay!

funny thing JA, because I actually did a bunch of homework on Proline before I got it and I read a lot of good things, but this was early last year. But I hear where you're coming from, I'm probably not gonna touch UG gear anymore.

Honestly, I don't think injecting too fast will cause that. You need some sort of bacterial contamination. Could be contaminated product, might have bumped the needle. Alcohol doesn't kill everything either, so it's possible that something alcohol-resistant was on the skin when you injected.

Thanks for the laugh bro :FRlol:

That sucks, I've only had 1 small infection and I was able to get it to go away on it's own by sucking out the puss with a seringe. Oh well, not bad for hundreds of injections.

well if it's not from injecting too fast then it's either dirty gear or flat out injection. the reason I ruled out dirty gear is because I injected some more into my glute with no problem.
either way, lesson learned, I'll be even more careful.
thanks for all the get well wishes.
it's still draining and starting to feel better.

inj. too fast, dont think so!

In that case, I guess I need to find out from the culture they took what kind of infection it was? I've read about sterile and septic abscess'. The reason I leaned towards a sterile abcess was because the injection site reacted immediately and got swollen/knotted. From what I read, most infections get worse over time, and mine was just staying the same. then again, I've read about some guys that will wait, or drain with a syringe, until the infection goes away on its own.
thanks for your response though.

Yea a friend of mine just used some proline Suspension and his leg got real red and lumped up so he went to ER and it was the same thing you had. the suspension was a few months old but none the less it shouldnt have not caused that kind of reaction. I also dont know how clean his injection techniques are because this happened to him about a year ago before.

I'm basically trying to find out exactly what it was that caused this so I won't do it again. Like I mentioned earlier, my technique is very clean, and it appears that even a fast injection wouldn't cause an infection. So if my gear was "dirty" wouldn't I have gotten the same infection when I injected into my glute? Using the process of elimination would basically point me towards a simple infection from unclean injection. What confuses me is when I hear about guys who have similar symptoms and they go away on their own?
