Back From Endocrinologist And Pissed

Why do you guys keep telling him to do Cialis? This will only help you if you want to have sex! Dude start your own HRT and monitor your lab reports and keep your E in check. There is enough help on here and other boards for you to do this yourself.

mikey,

don't know what your marital status is, but obviousl it is affecting his marital status, he may not want sex according to you, but im sure his wife does.

also reread the first post, he does not really want to do self diagnosis.

so although a temp fix , cialis will help. ;)

just get another opinion. and from my endo. told me, is that being overweight only effects your free test, not your total. Has something to do with protein not being able to bind to proteins or something. But you'd have to be really over weight for that even. Def. see someone else.

Your asking a endocrinologist to diagnose your sexual issue. That is like asking a car mechanic what is wrong with your broken television. It is not their specialty. He looks at blood counts each day, and assesses whether someones numbers fall into the averages deemed normal by millions of previous tests over the past years. He did his job 100% as accurately as his job entails.

Irregardless of your condition leading to your ED (which I have previously said is 100% related to a 400 something test count and still feel this), there are only three treatments: Cialis, Viagra, Levitra. Other than that there is no miracle cure for ED. You need to try one of these drugs and see if you can get some help from them.

You can still go to a urologist, but all he will do is test for blood flow to your penis using ultrasound. If he deems you have poor circulation, guess what, he'll perscribe Cialis, Viagra, or Levitra. He can look at your bloodwork and see that you have a test count that is on the low levels of normal, but if still in the normal range, he won't give you any kind of hormone therapy.

Your sexual problems can be indeed be from the hormone levels. 400 is very low however endros are trained to treat disease not improve quality of life. I think too many people are ignorant taking these drugs when a full CV and hormone and even neurotransmitter profile should be done first. Id advise you to see a specialist mens doctor.
How was your pct after steroids did you recover fully or is this a result of poor pct?

A few questions... can you give us your detailed PCT? How long did it last? How much of HCG? How long has it been since you finished taking your HCG? I can tell you right off the bat that your PCt was lacking... you should've ran an AI for as long as the HCG (which should have been about 3 weeks) and Nolvadex for 6 weeks... my guess is that you're still partially shutdown from your cycle.... 400 is on the low side for test but it's not horrible... next time, before doing a cycle, get tested so you know your baseline values when you're clean.... I would recommend running another PCT first... it's the simplest option and it can more than likely bring you back to normal.... I'm no expert but you really don't want to start with HRT... you're in a rut right now, it's understandable... but HRT is an extreme... especially at your age, and especially if you're not sure that your natural test levels are permanently below range....

While your trying to get yourself back on track, try some Maca and Ginseng for the hell of it. This combo works for wonders for me when I take breaks.

you should check your free test levels. total test doesnt tell the whole story. if its bound, you cant use it. you may have normal range total test but far below normal bio-available test (free test).

do you get morning wood? thats a reasonably good measure over time of free test levels. low free test, no morning wood.

proviron and/or avena sativa both free up bound test and are worth a shot even before you get tested.

also, the hcg will increase testicular mass and give a minor kickstart, but clomid (or nolvadex) is what gets ur HPTA back on track via estrogen feedback loop manipulation.

search out posts for "clomid" or "PCT" and you should be able to find a boatload of references here.

I would suggest to see as many Drs as it takes to find one that is not scared of HRT. I have a Dr that writes me anything I want. He even writes me a script for HGH and called my insurance company for me so they will pay for it. My primary MD would only write for Androgel and nothing else, so I found another one. Good luck.
