B12 question

b12 half life is about a week. also i recommend hitting your rats IM

as for dosage its totally dependent on why your rat is taking it. is he b12 deficient? does he have anemia? or is the little guy just needing some extra b12 for maintenance?

Im experimenting on him to see the effects it will have, so maintenance. I've heard alot of benefits to it so I figured I would check it out on him to see for myself. And of course IM, wouldn't have it any other way.

How much better is the shot then orals? And why?

Sent from my iPhone punk!

There really isn't much advantage to shots. B12 is absorbed well. You can get oral dosages hundreds of times higher than you can ever use. (Dx7 is very high in B 12) It's available with hours and lasts a couple of days regardless to whether it's eaten or injected. Getting it in the bloodstream sooner seems somewhat pointless unless you have anemia.

300-800 would work per week. depending on the size of the rat

but also keep in mind that the rat doesn't necessarily need weekly injections just cause the half life is a week. you can get away with every 2 weeks for maintenance. or even once a month.

Alright, right on steve thanks for the help like always brother!

I prefer the shots by far, One of the few things that works best for my asthma too.

How does it work for asthma? Does it help keep asthma attacks from coming on, like weezing?

It is believed that it has an anti-inflammatory action that helps with weezing etc.. Great stuff that Doctors give their patients and proof that the shots have a different effect on the body than just pills.
