Austin Police officer fired for Racist behavior

theres just one problem, his girlfriend is black, his ex wife is black, and his kids are half black. I guess he hates his family?

He said that he stopped a brand new pickup truck because he saw two 16 year old black males acting suspicious when they got in it.

He tried to pull them over and they peeled off, ran a red light, ran a car off the road, ect. He chased down the driver and found drugs in the truck.

He said that this type of truck is usually driven by somone living out in the country, not a 16 year old black male. And thats why he pulled them over, he was fired on the spot, 6 years on the force.

It's not personal racism, but it sure as hell is racial typing. I mean, what kind of idiot stops someone on the basis of their vehicle after all the controversy in the Northeast about that?

I'll tell you what it is. It is the right thing to do. The two people getting into the truck do not fit the normal day to day occurences for that area. In other words something was amiss. Therefore he pulled them over because there was reasonable suspicion of criminal behavior.

This cop has a huge lawsuit that he will win and retire on and I hope he does.

you follow anyone for 3 or 4 minutes you can pull them over for something no signal improper display of tag of my favorite careless driving (no firm definition of that)
