Audi’s new TT coupe is pumped and fierce

most current TT owners don't like the new model.

audi's reliability is less than desireable, esp considering their purchase price.

That's ok.

People here go on and on about Lexus and they're just a stepped up Toyota.

the new $105,000+ Lexus LS 600 L is alot more than stepped up Toyota. It's about to open up a can of ass whippin on BMW, and Benz. Most of the Lexus models do seem like a pimped out version of a toyota which really isn't a bad thing either.

Lexus IS Toyota. And as you said, it's a good thing.

I'm just reluctant to shell out $40K for a car that shares its platform and major components with a $15K subcompact.

Toyota isn't selling a Lexus coupe for $30-$40K based on a Corrolla platform...

Eww. Get a real car, broly.

Wouldn't touch an SUV with a ten foot pole.

I drive <6k miles a year. Any vehicle would last me more than a decade.

Even a Chrysler product

Lexus is god! I've never been happier with a car, my SC400 has 200,000+ miles and it still runs like it was new. On the flip side I'm kinda hoping it will die so I can justify going and getting a new Lexus. There are only two types of people who hate Lexus, those who've never owned one, and those who can't afford one.

I could easily afford a Lexus if I gave up some basics.

Like electricity and eating :)

If they're good for 200k miles wonder if I should consider a pre-owned model with about 50k miles

The older SC400s that were imported from Japan are a 500,000 mile rated engine.

Why have something like that? Doesn't everyone get one? Amd I have never even walked on a lot where they sell those cookie cutter wanna be cars. But, hey I take the bus anyway. :qt:

:santa:

Can you say, "marketing hype"?

I can, but I'm not aware of any mfg who spews hyperbole of that magnitude.

There's no one out there that I know of who "rates" engines for their projected mileage.
