Ok this is my mini-rant. I just wanted to take the time to thank all of the assholes out there. I'm speaking of men that treat their women like shit. Luckily for me I have spent the last several years of my life following around behind you guys...cleaning up your messes. Of course its true that some women allow it to happen...keep coming back for more. But that still doesn't change the fact. I mean getting a woman to trust a man is like pulling off some elaborate magic act. And who can blame them.

And dont get me started on abusive relationships....any man that could hit a woman should have the living shit kicked out of him...every hour on the hour. And it just so happens that I have some free time on my hands so just stop by....we'll see if we can't adjust that attitude.

You guys really suck....so please get really wasted and wrap your car around a tree.

No I'm no social worker. I was talking about it on a personal level. I try to do the right thing by women...and in the past they have had a hard time believing me because of the way they have been treated before.

Its like you do something nice for a woman...and they have been conditioned to wonder what your angle is.

No offense hun but for the majority of women out there who are single for a bit or recently that is utter bullshit.

I deplore guys who mentally/physically abuse women,and in todays age with the laws there is no excuse for women to stay in those types of situations, lets get that oput of the way.

Like I said there would be more nice guys out there if you women actually went for what you actually say you want. I know two women friends of moine that are social workers. They say it is incredibly frustrating because the caseload is extremely high, and despite their best efforts, a lot fo people don't make changes.

They do say that the occasional victories are worth it.

The subject of this thread is the very reason we started our Daughter in TaeKwonDo at an early age.

She is 10 now and after several years has earned her 2nd Degree Black belt.
I have made the mistake of making her real mad and pushing her or or pinching her
and I gaurantee she does NOT hit like a girl.. Owch!

Even in 4th grade she had had to set a few bullies straight with a light pop to the stomach or Arm when they kept on and kept on picking on her ...

Hannibal---I do agree with you about guys that hit there woman but I think you have to look at yourself for why you attrached these types of woman. There are scumbags in the world and always will be. But the best thing you can do is not try to go after all of them but really look deep into yourself and wonder why you need to be the "NICE" guy or savyor to these woman. Find a strong woman that will stand up for herself at all costs and that is the type of woman that will never been abused. A strong woman who loves herself does not put up with a guy that hits her and a scumbag rapist does not target a strong willed woman. They pray on the naive and weak. You can live a life full of drama and want to fight the world because of someone bringing there emotional baggage where ever they go or you can find someone that knows what she wants and won't put up with anything less.

Wombat...I agree with some of what you said. However I disagree with some of the points that you made. Why am I attracted to these "type" of women? Well...its hard to see a woman's emotional baggage from across the room. I mean when you meet a woman for the first time...there is no way to know her relationship history. And if you spend a little time with them, and become more interested, there still is no real way, short of asking, to know if she has been abused in anyway. That is something that is very personal, and usually difficult for a woman to talk about. By the time she is willing to share this information with you, chances are that you pretty well invested into the relationship. So at that point should I just say....not worth dealing with? I don't think so. Besides if she has been abused, chances are IT WASN'T HER FAULT! Would it be easier to be with a woman that had no "baggage"...of course. But finding what you want in another person is never easy.

As for me being their savior...I doubt it. I mean it is not something that I seek out. However once I am interested in a woman, and she tells me about her past...I'm not going to just decide it isnt worth it. And just because a woman has been abused does not mean that she is weak. Strong women get abused also....just not as often. And emotional abuse is just as detrimental to a woman's sense of worth as physical abuse is.

Actually this thread went in a different direction that I intended. I was more focusing on men treating women like shit...the abuse was just a small part of it.
