During the Labor Day week, starting this Friday, I will be on a road trip to Texas to pick up a family "heirloom" from my grandmother. I will be stopping in Atranta (EYEPEEE!) to see an old friend from Colorado at his family reunion.

Then, it's I-20 all the way to Dallas to stay with one of my aunts, and visit, if possible, some other relatives in the area.

Hopefully, if all goes well, on Wednesday, I will be at my grandmother's to pick up an old phonograph cabinet that was my great-grandmothers.

I am especially concerned about meeting up with my grandmother. She's turned into a crotchety, narrowminded, bitter lady, and I'm not sure how I will be able to handle her attitude. I love her because she is my grandmother, but that's about as far as it goes.
