uh, not so good, the painter just prepped everything it still needs to be painted. It will be navajo white. the carpet goes intuesday. it is a color called mushroom it is speckled and a short shag. no ceramic tile or wood floors now as the contractor came and looked today ans saw i had cement floors on the second level condo and the cement was cracked in various places so the floor could shift slightly. so tommorow i have to go to home depot to look at linoleum to put down myself since i didn't order it from the carpet place in time.
I have to get all new blinds, maybe a bathroom fan, smoke alarm and i am getting all new light socket, telephone and various other covers. new vent covers and theats about it. I want to decorate it in a asian theme maybe.
I wonder where i can get blinds cheap and fast?

First of all, get the word "theme" out of your decorating vocabulary.

Actually L. I don't ever work fridays so we could go in the day.
X.X. I was thinking you could just stand in the middle of the living room in a kimono.
Know I meant like oriental vases, those wood village type picture art in frames.
Maybe a scroll etc

I never saw that movie. Warik probably has better ideas than I do.
I like to start with simple and work slowly, filling a place with things that I love and that are meaningful to me. I love artwork, good lighting is important. That does a lot for a place. I like things that are classic and not trendy. You do what makes you feel good.
