Athletic scholarships at division 2 schools

i didnt play any sports in highschool. but now im 22 and in very good shape and tall lean and built well and do alot of sprints. how do i go about applying for a scholarship to play a sport at a division 2 school. i hear that division 2 schools only off academic scholarships for someone to play a sport also instead of athletic shcolarships like division 1 schools. thanks for any help

I got a scholoarship as a walk on at a JC. I played high school football though. I can't see you getting a scholarship in a sport that you've never played.
