Aspirate

Is it okay when injecting in glutes - after aspirating and getting blood to just pull back a bit on the needle then inject fully?
What are the implications in this?
Not going to cause any probs is it.
Dont like the idea of multiple stabbing lol...

If you're going to inject anyway, why aspirate?

It isn't really neessary to aspirate with the glutes. There aren't any major veins there and if you use a 1" the worst that will happen is you'll go through a tiny vessel and bleed a few drops. Have an alcohol swab ready, wipe it down, and be on your way.

Where is sciatic? i always assumed if u stick with upper right quadrant of glute, you're safe as to veins and major nerves.

Even though I've already went 5 successful cycles, I just got the chills reading this. Sounds pretty scarry. From my understanding you'll 'feel' coming close to the sciatic before you'll hit it right?

just make sure you stay in the upper and outer side of the glute, lower and in and your in sciatic territory, and you wont be feeling too nice if you hit it....
