He couldn't really speak about his true passion because people were(and still are) very rejecting of what is considered, "evil". There was no way for him to "play nice" with the church. Back then, EVERYTHING was about the church. Maybe he didn't feel it necessary to share only the parts of his mind that was considered acceptable. Maybe he didn't believe another person was capable of understanding and he was growing tired of trying to explain himself to idiots. Maybe since people didn't accept his beliefs about religion..... he didn't think they deserved to be enlightened by what he had to offer the world. I really have no idea. This is all speculation. Plus, he was always a little, "off center". When his mother died, he went hella nutz. MAYBE it was all about control. Maybe he didn't think the boxed writings were all that great. Who knows? Maybe he didn't think it was any-one's business. You prolly have a better guess concerning the matter than I will ever conclude.
Either way, I knew you would know the answer. I just wanted to play the, "who am I" game because nobody else thought of it![]()
Much of that is up to debate, and probably will be for all time at this point (unless the possibility of time travel ever is somehow harnessed and utilized, which I doubt).
I will say it was a nice twist. I enjoyed the question.
