The look Arnold achieved was perfect. Nothing overdeveloped or grotesque, looked big from every angle. Very cut at contest time but not all unhumanly vascular like today.

I think bodybuilding needed a physique like him as well as a personality like him to make it accepted, and for a while I think it was.

Its too bad its going back to freak status.

Thats why I liked Lee Haney also, he had a really ideal look for his time.

the only pro today i think has a good physique is dexter, jay and ronnie don't look like people. arnie looks the best in this pic i have of him doing a set of preachers. arnie's build was amazing i also think louie looked also as well as serge. serge's arms were the shit
