I could care less if he was in office of the presidency. He's not a dumbass like bush and he'd definitely put some "balls" to policies.

In california he has been effective - not like a typical politian where they beat around the bush around any sensitive subject.

Maybe this will be the new liberal technique. Since they don't have any candidate or representative for next elections and they WILL NOT HAVE ANY, the only way to compete, is as always, attacking the opponent. It's a desperate try to stay alive. But Americans are not fool. Americans are RED.

Arnold has advantage as an outsider with public behind him. Wish him all the luck in a state that has become so PC it's stupid.

It'll never happen. The country is too afraid that one day, some middle-eastern or mexican-born us citzien will become president -- and invoke all kinds of policies to help another country they still pledge allegiance too.

Not to mention -- the president must have the capacity and capability to invoke nuclear strikes or declaration of war against any other nation. A person who is a citizen of another country, born there and with family -- will have a huge dilemna and be unduly influenced. A native-born citizen wouldn't have such issues.

Not to mention nat citizens *can* be stripped of their citizenship and be deported. Every year something 1,000 people are stripped of their citizenship for a multitude of reasons.
