Not sure if this is the right thread location on not. But how could I help reducing arm pump while dirt biking. I'm doing a 5x5 program currently. Just looking for a little something more to just target the arm pump. More cardio? I drink lots of water before and during riding.

Start using beta-alanine.

Beta-Alanine is an effective sports supplement which allows muscles to work longer and harder

3-6 grams spread throughout the day will help to eliminate the lactic acid and toxins from your muscles that cause the "pump" when riding. This is probably my all time favorite supp and like creatine it does work beyond placebo. It will cause a tingling sensation like niacin so don't freak out if/when you try it. After a while this will go away and it is the reason I recommend dosing it spread throughout the day. It will take a few weeks like creatine to build up in your system before you notice results.

I just check my pre-workout drink and there is 50 mg of beta-alanine. But I guess that not enough. Hopefully I can find the stuff locally here in canada.
